'Mooie centrale ligging in de stad. Hotel heeft alle faciliteiten maar komt wat gedateerd over. Kamers ruiken naar schimmel (wij waren er overigens in de moesson periode) en worden niet heel goed schoongemaakt. Oase van rust in drukke stad. Met Mezze en Old House twee prima restaurants (die er niet bij horen) op loopafstand. Prima zwembad en ontbijt/lunch/dinner ruimte.'

'Wij waren een week in Kathmandu. Het Crowne Plaza hotel ligt op een afgescheiden ommuurde eigen terrein, wat een oase van rust opleverde in een anders zeer chaotische stad. Lekker om een beetje bij te komen.
Het hotel heeft een aantal prima restaurants. De kwalitiet, maar ook de prijzen daar zijn wel gewoon ' westers'.
De service is uitstekend. Iedereen is zeer beleefd en behulpzaam. Bellen voor ons voor excursies, herbervestiging bij de vliegtuigmaatschappij en dergelijke was geen enkele...
