SEA SHELL COTTAGE, Sleeps 2 - ESCAPE THE COLD; OUR POOL IS HEATED!

The Sea Shell Cottage UNIT #2 has efficiency kitchen with refrigerator, sink, microwave oven and toaster oven. The main room has a Queen-sized bed, full bathroom with a walk-in shower, table with 2 chairs and a TV. It comfortably sleeps 2 people. The unit is air conditioned and WiFi service is available throughout the resort. Enjoy the communal outdoor pool and covered patio that has a gas grill, griddle and picnic area. There is a laundry room with washers/dryers for our guests to use free of charge.

For those who would like to venture out to the beach, the unit has 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler and beach towels for your convenience.

Guest may request to have their pet, 1 dog of 40 pounds or less, accompany them on their vacation and will be required to sign and abide by a pet occupancy agreement as well as pay $75 in additional cleaning fees for the in-depth cleaning required after a dog has stayed in the unit. Guests that bring a dog that has not been pre-approved by management or do not follow resort rules will be asked to leave the resort and all payments will be forfeited.


ACTIVITIES:

Fishing adventures, bird watching, water sports or some down time relaxing in nature and the beauty of the most desired key in Florida. We’re twenty-five miles to Key West for dinner and nightlike or walk down the block to the local tiki bar, Tonio’s.

We have plenty of space for your boat and trailer. There is a boat ramp just down the block at Tonio's that can handle flat boats 21' or smaller and the boat ramps at Cudjoe Gardens Marina (477 Drost Ave.) and Little Torch Key (SR 4A & County Road) can handle larger boats for a minimal fee.

We’re located twenty-five miles from Key West for dinner and nightlife. Walk 2 minutes down the block to Tonio's Seafood Shack & Tiki Bar. Bahia Honda State Park, with its beautiful beaches, is a 15 minute drive from HIDDEN HAMMOCK RESORT. Our property is not on a waterfront and there are no public beaches in Summerland Key.

Guests are provided with the following amenities: a small bottle of dish soap, hand soap and a sponge, a roll of paper towels and toilet paper, a few laundry pods and hotel-size toiletries in the bathroom. This is to help our guests off to a good start. There are grocery and convenience stores in the areas for guests to purchase anything else that they may need.

Hope and Glen are wonderful host. Me and my wife had a nice stay here. Absolutely a great relaxing, private, getaway. Very clean rooms, grounds, awesome crystal clear warm pool. Only problem we had is our time there was too short and we had to leave. They say home is where your heart is. Well we may have just left a piece of home there. Don’t hesitate to book here!

We highly recommend staying at the Sea Shell Cottage or one of the other rooms at this location! The room is spacious enough for 2 people and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and beach towels provided as we used them often! The property is gorgeous and only has about 6 units on it. So it never felt crowded and often times, we had the pool to ourselves. The pool is heated also which was amazing! Hope often stopped by to give recommendations and to check in which was very helpful. We were in a great location too! Only 30 minutes from Key West, 20 minutes from an amazing beach, great restaurants super close by, and Marvin Key was near as well. We will definitely be back. If you are considering this property, just book it! It's worth it.

I couldn’t be happier with the cottage I stayed in. It was very clean, as described, check-in was easy, host communicates well! It is located just south of the bridge as you enter Summerland Key from the north and just a couple of minutes off the highway, secluded by trees and peaceful. There is a lot of seating outside and grills so perfect for spending time outside. thank you for the wonderful visit!

Perfect little oasis spot

Very cute spot we had pretty much to ourselves. Had 2 rooms which were connected so we could all be together. Host stopped by and opened the pool table house for us to use which was really nice. Definitely a cute spot where we would stay again.

Really nice spot

Really cool little "resort". Room was clean, nicely laid out, and it was nice to have a pool and laundry facilities. Location was great for me to dive in Key West or Middle Keys. Only complaint was TV not working correctly 2 out of 5 days and I have to watch morning news/weather and in the evening wind down. Could just be Direct TV issue? Regardless I would recommend the stay.

Cottage off the beaten path

We stayed in the sea shell cottage, perfect for two. The unit was clean and the grounds were beautiful. There is a grill and a flattop griddle you can use. We went out for most meals so we didn’t use them. Close to a ton a restaurants, good recommendations in the book Had a great time! Will be back

Hidden respite

Very cute little cottage! The pool area and grounds are lovely, The cottage is quite small but that is all we needed for our week long stay. Very convenient to Key West, only a 25 min drive. The reason for 4 stars was addressed with host but overall would return here.

Hidden Hammock

Hidden Hammock was a gem for sure. Quiet, clean, located near lots of restaurants, stores, and things to do, Manager Hope was very kind and helpful giving us tips where to go, where to eat etc. Property sits on Summerland Key and close to everything North or South of us. Excellent Hosts

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was made especially pleasant by the wonderful attentiveness of our hosts, Trina and Hope. The property is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring either the lower or middle Keys. The grounds are quiet and well-manicured and the amenities even include everything you need for a day out at the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc.). We would happily spend another week at this Summerland Key retreat. (In fact, as I write this at my desk back at work in Los Angeles, I wish I were there now!)

Don't appreciate having my disability rights plan I have two three service dogs registered and they charge me a pet deposit which is against the law federal lawUnder abilities act other than that place was all right you got to hassle about my dogs by the manager but her dog could run free without a leash but I had to put my dogs in the house when her dog was around

Great time in the keys

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the room we rented was perfect for us it definitely has an old school vibe. The pool was nice on the hot summer days but they were going through a bit of a crab invasion while we were there. But that was no big deal for us. Hope was super nice and have a bunch of suggestions for things to do and places to eat while down there. Ask in all we had a great time and will try to return in the future.

Fishing trip

If you don’t need a water view this compound is perfect for what I needed. Very well maintained grounds with brick pavers on all driveways and courtyards. I stayed in a one bedroom with kitchenette with ample areas for my small boat. I will be back.
