'The room was a moderate price so I was not too surprised that it had a leaking shower and the bathroom door did not shut. The shower curtain was mouldy. Nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom as the only space on the sink had the liquid soap. The soap dispenser on the wall was not used. There was a kettle but no way to get clean cups once the two issued ones had been used. No breakfast available which was frustrating as the nearest cafe is a not very close.'

'Friendly personal'

'location nice, rooms hot in summer. doors in halls of hotel need cleaning/paint, looking scruffy. Staff in restaurant especially during breakfast inefficient. took more then 30m to get yoghurt served.... other tables with 6 guests were served 2 dishes each in meantime. waitress should identify better the customers i.e. business travel single person or 6 guests on holiday. staff at night waiting behind bar, almost felt like they avoided contact with customer. If it weren't for the kind gentleman...

'Ok for the price. No airconditioning. Overall old but still pretty intact. Dog friendly. Breakfast not very luxururious but included, so no complaints.'

'The houseboat is located in a marina which looks a bit rundown, a car is absolutely necessary to go to Rochester or any other nearby village. The owners have been renovating the property for the past few years and indeed our room was nicely decorated and clean. Unfortunately though the boathouse is located next to a highway bridge and the noise is just unbearable. We booked our room in November 2024 for a stay in July 2025 on a B&B basis. At our greatest surprise we were told that they no...

'Nice hotel with plenty of parking space. Good beds and quiet room. Bathroom was a bit in a bad condition.'

'Behulpzaam personeel, mooi aangekleed in kerstsfeer & erg sfeervol'

'Prijs kwaliteit verhouding een 10! Kamer was okay, matras slecht, verder wel schoon. Lift was vies. ‘‘s nachts ging alarm af, dat was schrikken. Mooi uitzicht uit hotelraam. Goed ontbijt. Aardige mensen die het hotel runnen! Voelde me ook weer echt in Engeland!'

'Sfeervolle inn in een leuk dorp'

'Hotel is central place for the whole city. I do not like to order and pay for diner in advance, ordering more means paying several times. Room is big but could have better interior design'

'Groot hotel, zeer ruime kamer en badkamer en een prima bed. Het eten was minder goed, zowel ontbijt als diner vielen tegen. Hotel is wat verouderd.'

'Goed Hotel Met Restaurant als Buurman '

'Ok'

'Breakfast was great considering it was free. Easy access to get in. Friendly staff. No issues.'

'Parkeren is normaal £21 als je tot 24 uur wil parkeren bij de services maar omdat je een kamer hebt geboekt voeren ze dat in hun systeem en is het gratis. Kamer was ruim en netjes voor de prijs die we betaalde. Zal deze zeker weer gebruiken als we onderweg terug zijn naar Nederland. '

'Very Friendly staff and nice restaurant'

'Beautiful pub in East Malling (I was there, passing through, between a visit from Spain to various places in the UK). The room (Number 1) was amazing. Every facility possible. The kind staff even put a hairdryer in for me. Ample space, bathroom, fridge, kettle, supply of a continental breakfast, information folder, full size TV, double bed and wardrobe. Spotlessly clean, modern but with a "vintage" feel. Loved it.'
