'Nice hotel, great location & a comfy room. Only three stars as I had to wait four hours for my room to become available & the poached eggs at breakfast were just about raw.'

'Avonpark House is a very good travellers rest. Comfortable and clean, our room was a reasonable size as was the ensuite. It’s a walkable distance into the centre of town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Good parking available and an excellent breakfast.'

'Hele nette accommodatie. Vriendelijke eigenaar.

'Small but excellent hotel. Good working WiFi. 3as no restaurant , 3 possible restaurants at waling distantie. Own Free parking at the backside.'

'Although in an older building, it is obvious the owners have made an effort to keep the rooms updated. Well decorated and appointed large room with large en suite. bath. Friendly service at check-in and at breakfast.'

'Loved the staff, expecially one who came out to the bus stop with added information on the day I left in the afternoon: Wednesday, October 28th. More than necessary'

Mooi oud pand in geweldig stadje.'

'Very good price quality Quiet location. When we stayed there the other guest were very calm too and it wasn't very busy. Friendly staff '

'We stayed for two nights and had a pretty good stay. On arrival we were given a room that on the face of it seemed good. However when I check on the booking we had paid for a junior deluxe room and the photos showed a very much better room. We went back to the reception and after some checking were taken to the room we should have had, whet a difference! We got there in the end but were disappointed that we had to challenge to get the room we had actually booked. Otherwise nice stay but a little...

'Had a pleasant overnight stay in Stratford. Hotel was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Very short walk to everything to see in Stratford. Had a couple of minor issues in our room that the helpful staff fixed up right away. Couldn't ask for more. Comfy bed and hearty breakfast. Good value all round'

'Great location in Stratford-upon-Avon with no real competition. Great swimming pools in- and outdoors.'

'Stayed in a "standard room" / King bed. Overall, the two-day stay was underwhelming,. On arrival, first room actually smelled hot. I first assumed something was wrong with the HVAC (there was), but I learned that the facility heats with radiators, and no, air conditioners don't work. After returning to the room with instructions to try turning down the radiator, I discovered there was no handle on the radiator valve. After I made a second trip to the front desk, they gave me a different room,...

'Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing and fell short of expectations. On arrival, the staff came across as somewhat unwelcoming. At check-in, I wasn’t shown to my room and was simply pointed in the general direction. When I subsequently discovered an issue with the room and raised it, I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing staff by bringing it to their attention. To their credit, the issue was eventually resolved, but the initial response left a poor...
