'Great location and friendly helpful service.'

'Four of us stayed for one night. The hotel is compact but comfortable. The building has some old (I would assume original) design (such as the hallway staircase railing, some furniture in common areas). The bathrooms also have the "old times feel" which I liked. The hotel is unique, conveniently located walking distance to the Avon theatre and some shops. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.'

'I would stay here again'

'Checkin proces without a physical reception is cumbersome and not clear. Many messages are to be interchanged and upon the notification that check-in authorization would be disclosed 48 hours in advance, only on the arrival day itself at 3 PM an email was sent. In addition, we have been charged twice for the parking lot, whereas it was made clear we brought one car while having booked two rooms.'

'De kamers zijn mooi, groot en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ik heb er heerlijk geslapen. Helaas is er geen lift en draadloos internet is er erg traag.'

'Goede locatie perfect hotel prijs kwaliteit al weer voor volgende trip geboekt'

'This was our first time staying here. What a great experience! We did book the smallest room (Mini) and it was perfectly fine for the two of us. There is a coffee shop attached to the inn which was very handy and a great bar next door too. The room was decored in a fun style (honouring the toy shop that existed there in prior days), the bed was comfy and shower had good hot water flow. They use local products for washing and conditioner. Smelled very nice! And finally, Bruce, the owner was...

'Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is in the heart of Stratford which makes for easy walks to dining, shopping and entertainment venues. Parking is safe and onsite. The hotel is over 100 years old so we weren’t expecting modern amenities found in newer properties. That said our room was clean and functional but it is in need of a refresh; rusty shower head that doesn’t allow for adjustment a heater that likely wouldn’t work well on a really cold night. Corridor...

'noisy refrigerator next to bed, needed proper desk for personal work, bed had polyester sheets, mattress in serious need of replacement, room smelled of food from adjacent restaurant, no way to block light into bedroom from bathroom, shower floor EXTREMELY slippery with no hand rails'

'Good location to the festival theatre as we could walk in 10 minutes. For a $400 a night stay I would have expected breakfast included and working elevators. The hotel only has 2 elevators that are used for both staff ( laundry, ...) and guests. During our stay only one was working. This lead to long wait times as stairs were not an option when checking in and out with the luggage. We were advised that the elevator had been out of commission for a week prior to our stay.'

'Only stayed there for one night, but absolutely loved it. Would deffinitely stay here again!'

'The hosts were charming, welcoming and accommodating. Proximity to the theatres and the town centre made this a perfect destination.'

'Nice to have a cornfield as the back of unit view! Everything was super clean and well-maintained. Thank you. Would very much return.'
