'The Stone Maiden inn made me consider why I ever stay at 'chain' accommodations.Well-located, easily walkable to the river, restaurants, shops, and theatre. Quiet. Clean. Our host was lovely. Parking and access was easy. Room was exceptionally clean. Lovely bedding. Coffee/Tea station, nice yard and garden. I appreciated the antiques. It wasn't kitch Victorian, it was a beautifully cared for Victorian home with the quirks.I would stay there again, and recommend it to anyone.'

'Tips for future travellers...the beautiful and striking photo that is the main photo of the list is NOT the building you will be staying in. It is a nearby landmark...so for anyone out of town that visits this property, that first impression is one of "huh"? I'd say the VRBO is perfect for a solo traveller, however, the bed is on the small side for more than a solo traveller and is considerably raised off the ground, making it difficult to access, especially if you need to get up in the middle...

'Great loft space for stay in Stradford! Comfy bed, nice bathroom and shower, adequate kitchen space for drinks and small snacks/meals. Nice decor with exposed brick and wood beams. Very quiet building and silent doors. Close to cycling trails and bustling downtown. Easy walk to cafes, eateries and shops. King bed is great but barely fits in the space. Anyone with mobility issues may have trouble navigating the tiny space. Would recommend and hope to return.'

'Wonderfully appointed room. Small personal touches upon arrival. All appreciated. Great communication by the host. Location is outstanding. Will book again! A couple of notes: There is no parking associated with this inn. There is street parking (as well as a paid lot behind the building), and a free lot (Cooper) a short walk away. You must be good with stairs. All in all this is a great choice for your accommodation while visiting Stratford. ♥️♥️♥️'

'It's a downtown, above a storefront apartment. Walls are pretty thin, sounds like everyone in the apartments around you are thumping around in concrete-lined boots. As a place to stay for a night, its alright. If youre planning on spending any real time in the apartment, there's no TV and the couches are uncomfortable. Price gets better better if youre splitting with another couple or friend. Rooms are really small.'
