"Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing activities to do, literally in paradise (in real life exactly like you see in the travel books)! Snorkelling safely amongst 4 (?!) nurse sharks, stingrays and hundreds of other beautiful fish simultaneously was one of the most memorable experiences in my life (I found Nemo 😉). Possible to visit the largest underwater restaurant in Asia in a nearby resort (6,8m under the Indian Ocean) where you can enjoy an 8-course delicious meal while literally seeing multiple sharks swim by. Also possible to visit other beautiful resorts nearby for a small fee. Possible to dive nearby with great white sharks, tiger sharks and bull sharks. This is the 3d most beautiful location in the world for diving! Jailbreak, literally next to the island, is the 6th most beautiful location in the world for surfing (while you’re surfing you see the dolphins swim by)! Visited inhabited islands with bounty beaches where you can picnic. Possible to fish and they prepare the fish on the bbq in the evening. You can eat good dinner for 10 dollar per person on the island itself. As a western tourist I always felt very safe on the island, also in the evening or during the night (also for women). Friendly people in general. Boat transfer from Male international airport to the island is 15 minutes away and costs 25 dollar. People from the hotel are waiting for you at the airport. Don’t worry, you’ll understand what I mean once the plane lands and you look out the window!"

"Hotel is beautiful. De personeel zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Privestrandje heerlijk op loopafstand van ong 30 meter. Het eten is prima en heerlijk. Juist niet grote bufffet maar voldoende. Himmafushi is een prachtig bevolkte eiland waar je kan zien hoe de Maldivische cultuur is. Groot verschil met eilanden/atollen waar alleen resort is. Daar houden wij ervan. Dus we hebben echt van genoten."

"The resort is beautiful but most of all the service is excellent. For a resort on the more affordable end it actually exceeded our expectations on the service level. The all-inclusive package features a good cocktail list, the buffet is “average” at best. It is nice to have a minibar partially included as well, although, I would suggest to be a bit more flexible with the “two soft drinks a day” policy, which I find a bit ridiculous to be honest. Also with the quality of the wines, it might be better to not serve wine at all as part of the all-inclusive package. I think the disappointment of that would be less than to be served this kind of horrible wine. One last peace of improvement could be found in the “Expedia VIP acces gold member recognition”, although we did not receive a room upgrade I did strongly got the feeling that we were put in one of the best possible rooms within our booked category. But I had to ask hour host to get confirmed that this indeed was the case. The room was simply amazing and one of the best villa’s on the island. But at checking nobody told us specifically about this. It’s a quick win to tell your guests actively that they can enjoy the benefits of one of the newest and biggest villa’s when you assign them to them. We hade a great stay and the value for money, especially considering you are on the Maldives, is on the right level here. Special thanks to our host Rishwaan, buffet server Dinesh and buffet host Geethinka who made us feel welcome! "
