'Cottage was very clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. Hot tub was wonderful with amazing views - the towels, sliders and robes were a nice touch. Would highly recommend'

'Loved this place! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved the service with a smile very welcoming. Will definitely return here.'

'Nice place to stay needs a bit of sprucing up in parts. Food good. Staff helpful.'

'It was a lovely place to stay. We were travelers for the Chatsworth House and stayed here 1 night. Our room was excellent, and the food - for dinner and breakfast (both continental and english) was fantastic!'

'Camera pulita'

'The room was not clean, the carpet had bits and hair all over it. The bathroom smelt so bad of damp and it was like a disco in there as 2 lights constantly flickered. The toilet seat was supposed to be white but was yellow, there was black mould around the bedroom windows. We dropped something down the side of the bed and had to pull it out and the dust was horrendous. I then paid for an adult & kids breakfast and it was shocking, such a rip off. the terribly cheap bread which was barely...

'Fijn en schoon hotel. Vriendelijk personeel.'

'Er is geprobeerd op een wat ludieke manier het aantrekkelijk te maken voor jonge kinderen. Voor ons niet nuttig maar ook niet storend. Wat er moest zijn, was er.'

'Prima verzorgd'

'Room clean.staff very friendly and a very good breakfast.'

'Een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Mooie kamer, uitgebreide koffie/thee faciliteiten. Lekker warm ontbijt. Gezellig terras.'

'The hotel room was ok and spacious. Shower gave not so much water. But in general it was a rundown place. We had to wait for food and breakfast long times. At breakfast some plates were not clean. The juice containers were almost empty. And on our departure date we couldn’t get breakfast because of a problem in the kitchen. While having breakfast there was the constant noice of the vacuum cleaner. When mobbing the floor, the employee hardly cleaned the mob in the bucket. The general appearance...

'Mooi gerenoveerd eeuwenoud gebouw, dus dan accepteer je sneller dat de kamers wat klein zijn. Nabij goede verbingswegen en het Peak district, in een van die schattige dorpjes daar.'

'direct naast de snelweg, maar wel stil en volop ruimte om te parkeren. '
