'It was a very nice hotel. Typical English atmosphere and very friendly stafff'

'brilliant place. staff were lovely, very friendly. i needed vegan options for breakfast and they were more than happy to accommodate. great location and easy parking behind the pub. would definitely stay again'

'Toilet did not flush strongly enough so we were confronted with the impossible to remove old poop of the previous guest. The receptionist seemed to think it was ours... '

'Leuke indeling kamer, veel privacy.'

'We hebben genoten. De gastvrijheid, het ontbijt, de tuin. Eigenlijk alles.

'Nice little cottage at a decent price, lovely owners. Bed was comfortable and it was useful having a kitchenette. Place had a few problems (such as the shower making the whole room wet and the extractor fan being broken) but was generally ok, but would have liked it to be cleaner (blood on headboard, hair on pillow, mould in shower, rather dusty in places, fridge could have been cleaner and tv handsets looked a biohazard!)'

'Excellent all round. Lovely big rooms and great staff. Food brilliant for dinner and also breakfast.'

'The room and hotel worked for what it was offering! I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful, but the door to the room I was staying in wasn’t working properly so I did run into some minor issues there. Other than that, it was very smooth sailing! Would recommend!'

'Room Comfortable, Noise could be heard from adjoining rooms though the hotel did provide earplugs. Good choice of beers in the bar and the Korean food provider served delicious food'

'Alles perfekt und sehr schönes Zimmer.'

'Prima klassiek hotel met goed ontbijt!'

'Very traditional and pretty inn in the heart of Pickering. Perfect location to explore the moors, and the heritage railway station is just down the street. The food in the restaurant is really good, as is breakfast.'

'Room was clean and presentable room smelled nice an fresh when we came back after our day out staff were friendly Valerie was a good host lovely breakfasts each day and great parking at the back well secured loved it'
