The place was very cozy! Perfect for a ski vacation. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Bathrooms and linens were all clean. Beds were comfy. While there is a pull out couch, I think four people is the most comfortable amount of people to occupy the apartment. My only gripes have to do with Retreatia - I had emailed the company ahead of time and did not get a response. Their shuttle system is kind of a joke - over two hour wait time for pick-up. On the last morning we got a knock on the door well ahead of check out time with the cleaning people to get in. When we said we were planning on leaving at 10, they stood outside the door making us feel uncomfortable enough that we left early.

Family ski vacation

Decent place for family vacation. Good location. But if your family is using more than one vehicle, find a place that can accommodate them. This place has only one parking space allowed per unit and overnight parking in for additional vehicles in Steamboat is extremely difficult to find. We found only one lot and it was very expensive.

Clean property. Didn’t have many hangers or extra towels so we bought some. Pet free property but owners clearly have a dog so if you have pet allergies be aware. Overall a great property.

Condo was clean, location is fine, parking is adjacent. Unit is small, bedrooms small, bathrooms are small. Little storage space, no hangers, only 1bedsheet, no extra pillow cases. Retreatia did not give unit number so luckily we arrived before 5:00 because we had to call and get it. Mattress of 1 bed was very hard. Tried to pullout sofa and the mattress was extremely uneven with large sagging. Basic kitchen items were adequate. No real amenities which was fine for us this trip, but plan accordingly.

The Great Powder Vacation

Annual trip to Steamboat and we booked our stay here. We've stayed in numerous locations and this has been one of the best. Close enough to walk to the Gondola, comfy King beds, big kitchen and living room. Its just a great feeling to come back after a day of playing in powder to such a relaxing place.

Lovely condo in Steamboat. Only about 5 minutes from downtown and close to a bus stop. Quiet neighbors and neighborhood. Beds were extremely comfortable and it was a nice addition to have multiple fans. Definitely would stay here again.

No A/C

Fortunately the nights are cool because THERE IS NO A/C! There are baseboard heaters for winter but it was very hot when we checked in and we were surprised not to have A/C. Apparently that is fairly common in steamboat springs, but it didn’t even occur to me to check for that in the listing. We borrowed the fans from the property management, and fortunately, like I said it cools off at night. Otherwise it was, a good stay!

Mountain stay

The unit is great and well stocked. We enjoyed the convenience to the ski resort and downtown as well as the shuttle available. The rooms are comfortable loved the fireplace and the hot tub & sauna on property as well. My only complaint is that our second car could not park at the property and we had some trouble finding a suitable place to park it over the weekend. Overall a great stay.

The listing said it was a 2 bed 2 bath, which is true, although one of the bathrooms was completely out of order. This was not communicated to us prior to arrival. There was wet drywall/holes in the drywall/tools in the bathtub, with a sign on the door saying out of order. That put quite a damper on the experience for 5 adults limited to one bathroom. Management was unable to provide a solution, and ultimately took a lot of back and forth to get a partial refund. A few other warnings - The couch is broken, the shuttle takes 2+ hours, and there were 5 bath towels for a place that claimed to sleep 6. It has the potential to be a great spot, but there are things I would check on before committing to this property.

Great Location

The location is great - a 2 minute shuttle ride to ski. The shuttle can also be scheduled to take you downtown, etc. The only odd thing about the property is that the counter where you would eat, since there is no dining room table, is very low. So low that there is only about 12 inches of space between the counter and the stools.
