'The pool was closed for renovations. Wish we had known prior. There also was a 20-minute wait for hot water to come on in the shower. '

Also I had asked for a wake up call, but then there was no wake up call on the date requested. Staff is lovely though and included breakfast was great.'

'Het hotel ligt op loopafstand can het conventie centrum, het doel van mijn reis. Met de bus voor de deur reis je gemakkelijk naar de Mall of naar andere delen van de stad. Eten is prima in de Ierse pub in Pratt st. Of in het Italiaanse restaurant aan de overkant. Voor de snelle hap zit er een pizza take away maast het hotel. '

'Not sure what happened to the pool, but when we booked (a few months ago) there was a pool. When we got there, they said they do not have a pool. Absolutely confused as I found the pool but looks like it’s being decommissioned or something. '

'Booked this hotel thru Expedia and got a very good price. It is just around the corner from the Hartford train and bus stations so it's wonderfully convenient. Just a few issues - First, the front door on Asylum Street is locked, with no sign to tell folks to walk around to the side entrance. Second - when we opened the door to our room, we found that IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED after the previous guests checked out - bed not made, used towels all over the bathroom (!) 'The first room smelled like smoke, it was changed, but the new one still had a slight smell of cigarettes. I get in the room and there was not remote but the man brung it only for the tv to still not work. None of the appliances were working. '

'Sigaret burns in blankets, smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Dead cockroach on the bathroom floor. Got offered to buy drugs right outside of room '

'4th floor during our stay was noisy from inconsiderate guests at all hours of the morning. Also the marijuana smell on each night woke me up it was so strong. '
