'Location was excellent. Very clean and spacious rooms. More spacious than most other rooms in Syros. Breakfast was also good. Self serve buffet and had variety. No lift. We ran into an issue with our key pad lock and they were on site immediately.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Castro Syros. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the port and the center of Ermoupoli, making it easy to explore the town, shops, and restaurants. The staff was outstanding - welcoming, helpful, and genuinely hospitable. Despite being so close to the action, the hotel is situated on a quiet street, providing a peaceful atmosphere and excellent rest. We would gladly stay here again.'

'The property sits on a cliff looking over the sea and the views are breathtaking. They offer breakfast service on a rooftop patio with extraordinary views as well. It is an old but elegant property and the rooms have a nice victorian charm. If you can, try to get a room with a small terrace and full sea view. The location is very close to the restaurants and shops of Ermoupoli, yet there is a walkable hill to negotiate where the hotel is located.'

'We were travelling as a mother & daughter and enjoyed our stay. Checkin was quick and efficient. Our room was spacious with a newish ensuite and we had the use of a large terrace which was pleasant in the evenings. The hotel was conveniently situated to town and the port. '

'Our apartment was amazing, very spacious with beautiful balcony, and close to the beach. The staff was very nice and helpful, they organized taxi for us and car rental, and gave us recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. Would recommend having a car because there is not much around the hotel. There is a bus stop nearby as well.'
