'If you're not a person who likes big resorts and looks for something a little more low key, The Hideaway is it. Beautiful, well-kept grounds. The room was fresh and clean. The pool and pavilion are in the middle of the cottages, and the beach is literally right outside the gate. My first day there, I had the entire beach to myself (beach is very nice and clean). There is no traditional check-in or front desk and not many employees, so there's kind of just a "honor system" vibe. I did meet one of...

'The staff was friendly and helpful. We got a lovely upgraded to a villa. The dinner & breakfast was great. The staff is wo wonderful & very helpful. Would stay again.'

'Stay was great, the staff was very helpful. We did suffer a power outage, but we got a partial refund for it. Plus is that its close to the airport, and emerald beach.... Con is the proximity to everything else... I stayed at the hibiscus villa, and it definitely was worth it... the view alone was amazing! I can only speak on the villa ilI stayed in. '

'Great place for families to stay. We enjoyed the beach and pool as well as activities the hotel put on. We took a mixology class, had mimosas and muffins, and took a few water aerobics classes. Getting to other two hotels for dinner (for a little variety) was easy. It was also very convenient having VI Cat on sight for sunset cruise.'

'I had a great stay here. The view was absolutely stunning. Being up on the side of the mountain was great. Very private but less than 5 min away from town. I will definitely stay again. '

'Island View Guest House was excellent! We booked our trip a little late so there weren’t many options but we are not disappointed with them at all. The Christmas dinner menu was top notch. The taxi they recommended was the best we used. '

'Courteous staff, friendly bar tender in the courtyard. Rooms are comfortable and the location is a good base to be close to the airport and also explore the island. Parking was easy and the hotel has a secure, gated lot. Location is walkable to nice restaurants and shops.'
