'What we like was that home farm view 5 minuts walking from the hotel. The serve perfect food. Olso in our hotel the breakfast was perfect. Close to the highway for day trips.'
'Ontzettend leuk accommodatie, de gastvrijheid krijgt een dikke 10, de gastvrouw is such a lovely and sweet woman, heel lekker en vers ontbijt. We hebben echt genoten het verblijf daar en ook in Leven!'
'Nice hotel in the form of a little palace. Lovely direct view to the coast. For the personnel nothing was too much. Nice hotel when you come as a couple. '
'Hotel is very nice. Room excellent, Personal friendly, good parking and nice Bar. Excellent choice and I give the Hotel a 5 Star Rating. I will be returning in September 2026.'
'Burntisland House is rather old, but well maintained. Room was clean and had a lot of space.
Railway station is just a 5 minutes walk, with a direct train to Edinburgh. '
'We loved our stay here. It had everything we needed. They were so kind and left us something special for our honeymoon. We appreciated the luggage lockers as well. '
'It’s an auto check-in, no staff. Everything worked fine. Rooms are decent and is a suitable, inexpensive place to stay. Not much to do in the area, although the Persevere Pub is an excellent stop for a pint and food. '
'A unique stay. Great location. Comfy beds. The staff were amazing, very helpful. Provided great service. The continental breakfast was exceptional, with fresh fruit, cereals, juice, selection of breads, coffee & tea.
The bar in the evening was a great location to unwind.'
'What an amazing 5* experience! The Fingal was everything I wanted it to be. A surprise overnight stay for my other half for his 70th birthday and it did not dissapoint. We stayed in the Luxury Duplex suite and it was lovey as the pictures on the website. Evening meal was delicious and the best breakfast I've had in a long long time.
A short walk to the Royal Britannia yatch which also exceded my expectation which is beside The port of Leith distillery - if you like whisky a great place to...
'Little did we know when we planned our stay that we would hit a bank holiday this weekend in Edinburgh. Possibly because of this, reasonably affordable rooms in the city center could not be found at all. A room at this hotel was still the most affordable. Previous reviews were often quite negative. Still, we opted for it for the cost. The carpet on the stairs was indeed quite worn and full of holes. The room was very basic, bed quite narrow for 2, bedding and towels were good. Bathroom OK. Did...
