« Excellent service from the lady proprietor on check in and at breakfast daily. A great host. Good breakfast selection including hot food to order although white bread tastes unusual. Room good and had a fan in it. Decor quite old and tired, especially in bathroom but doesn’t hinder the stay. Slept well and the place was quiet even though full. Good location. Would stay again. »

« Well located hotel within five minutes walk of the ferry port. An old fashioned style B and B with seemingly new owners (Opul Group). Rooms are large but maybe a little in need of a refresh. Everything clean. Breakfast included which was surprisingly excellent. Buffet style but even catered for us as vegans which was amazingly welcome. Well located for the town centre, next door to wetherspoons which can be loud on a weekend, but no huge problem. »

« Great view! Unfortunately the hotel is shabby at best and left us feeling conned, as the online description and suspiciously positive reviews paint a misleading picture. Peeling wallpaper and piles of bedding left in narrow hallways from one day to the next.
