'Room was lovely, we didn't arrive in time for dinner unfortunately as the kitchen closed at 9pm on the Saturday. There was only a hand towel in the bathroom rather than any towels to be able to use the shower/ bath. Slightly noisy up the stairs from the pub which is open until 11pm (not a complaint, just for awareness). Breakfast was lovely and great views'

'The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. The room I stayed in for 1 night looked as if it had not been decorated for 20 years and still had a lingering odour of Cigarette smoke.
