Wow! It’s really unfortunate when some people won’t take accountability for their own mistakes. Cindy reserved my condo for two nights. As per stated on our vrbo webpage and per the email I sent her, I needed a written response through our vrbo email feed that she had read and agreed to abide by our rental agreement terms. Then I would send her the welcome letter with further information and the key code to the door. She never responded to my first email so I sent her another one shortly before her stay and tried to contact her again. No response again. I was up in the mountains out of cell phone range the day she was to arrive at our condo. I could see when I got back into cell phone range that she had tried to call me. Her first call was at about 5pm. I called her immediately upon my return at 7:30pm. She was extremely rude and used foul language at me. I respectfully reminded her that I had sent two emails requesting her written acknowledgment of reading and agreeing to the terms of our rental agreement before she could get access to our rental. I told her I had tried to contact her with no luck and that I would send her the rental agreement again and she could respond and then I would send her the rental agreement and key code. She finally did respond albeit very rude and with horrible profanity. I kindly sent her the welcome letter and key code. She never even stayed in my condo. Sadly she didn’t follow our house rules and yet she won’t take accountability for it.

Jennifer, I don’t know what the unpleasant smell is that you mentioned. We just had the carpet cleaned right before your stay so everything should have smelled fresh and clean. We, and our cleaning service work very hard to make sure our condo is always in super clean condition for our guests. Perhaps you didn’t like the smell from the carpet shampoo? But we have always had great feedback and reviews from our guests on how clean and fresh our condo is.

Thank you for the kind review Kristin. You were wonderful guests and left our condo in very respectful condition. And even though the kitchen appliances are older, they all work great! That is why we haven’t replaced them. When we bought the condo 10 years ago it was like a time capsule, with everything like new, but hardly used since the original owners had only used it occasionally as a place to visit. We do our best to always keep our wonderful little condo super clean and comfortable for our guests. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay!

Carl, as I mentioned to you earlier, sometimes that happens when the disposal hasn’t been turned on in awhile and some food gets trapped in it. Although our cleaning service couldn’t smell anything sour, they ran some disposal cleaner through it and everything smells nice and fresh.
