'Proper country pub great food and ale and quiet location'

'The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. The markings for hot and cold faded and difficult to establish which way to turn. The bath had various stains around the plug hole and bath and certainly...

'Goeie bedden en heel lekker ontbijt.'

'This hotel is very well situated, the parking is a bonus and the views from the restaurant are stunning. The food was well cooked and the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the age of the building and the reason why there was no lift but we struggled somewhat to lug two suitcases up to the top floor as our room was in the converted attic. The view from the room was great and the room itself was spacious, it could have benefited from a fridge and some of the roller...

'Nice hotel, fine rooms. Very nice bed. Friendly staff. Did not experience the city.'

'Great family room with separate bunk beds for the children. Brilliant breakfast and canapes and staff were great. Only downside was the hot water wasnt working very well so had coldish showers.'

'Very beautiful small B&B type hotel. Very nice outdoor settings and gardens, ideal for a few days stay in summer. Room very clean and comfy with extra's. Bathroom immaculate. Stunning breakfast room serving top breakfast. Very friendly and accomodating hosts, freshly brewed coffee and cupcakes on arrival. In short: Perfect stay, 10/10'

'We only stayed for one night but it was brilliant. The cupcakes, milk and eggs left for us were a really lovely touch. My granddaughter was so sad to leave that we will bring the whole family next summer.'

'Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.'

'Hotel was outdated and pool was empty, fitness was closed and food was horrible'

'We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly.'

'Gelegen in een prachtige groene omgeving is dit een geweldig hotel. Vriendelijk personeel en een prima ontbijt en diner. Goede prijs voor hetgeen geboden wordt.'

'Good... but it can be better.'

'Lovely place to stay and hot breakfast was delicious'

'Says on website on site parking did not see any'

'Very nice room (just need more attention to cleaning the floors) and good burger meal in the pub - thank you!'
