Situated in one of the most sought-after locations in St Andrews, 38 The Scores is the penthouse apartment of a traditional Georgian townhouse. The views from the private balcony, and front facing rooms, are nothing short of superlative

This property is bright and modern and decorated to a high spec. It is entered via a spacious entrance hall which benefits from a large skylight, allowing natural light to flood the apartment. Towards the front of the apartment is the heart of the home - the open plan living, diner and kitchen. With floor to ceiling windows and double doors spanning to length of the back wall, panoramic views seas can be enjoyed from all angles. The private balcony can be accessed from the living room, where you can enjoy uninterrupted views out towards of the world famous The Old Course, West Sands beach and Royal and Ancient clubhouse.

The front bedroom (which can be configured as a twin or superking) further benefits from sea views, with two more super king or twin bedrooms towards the rear, one of which has an en-suite with a shower over the bath.

Amazing Location with stunning views.

The flat is located in a superb location in St Andrews with stunning views. The flat is accessed via 4 flights of stairs so it might not suit all ages but will get you fit. All the details for finding the flat and key access were all perfectly explained in email communication with the manager Ellen, who is excellent. We found the flat spacious with very comfortable beds and a very bright and airy feel about it. We did feel lounge was a little tired and could do with a spruce up but everything else made for a really lovely stay in a lovely part of Scotland. Would we go back ? Yes.

Absolutely amazing view. Great location for accessing centre of St Andrews. Lovely rooms. Property was very cold on arrival, heating wasn't on 'timed' as stated in the info. No dishwasher tablets, we had to buy these. Only 2 toilet rolls for 5 adults for 4 days! We had to buy more. Would have liked to have champagne flutes among the glasses. The mats by the balcony are very slippy on the floor and potentially dangerous. This was mentioned by another guest in the visitors book but they are still there. It was disappointing to find that the fire wasn't connected. Overall, we loved the property and would stay again. The negative issues were mostly minor (except for the heating) and are intended as constructive feedback.

Highly recommended. At the risk of stating the obvious the trade off for the views is you have to go up 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Totally worth it!

Beds were great. Apartment was ideally located with beautiful views, good size, and an open kitchen and family room area. Only complaint: the two chairs and the rug in the living room were very dirty and all three need to be cleaned or replaced.

Spectacular Place to Stay in St.A!

Traveling with your ex-husband to visit prospective colleges for your child is seldom easy, but renting this wonderful flat made it as pleasant as it could possibly be. Each of us had his/her own bedroom, there was plenty of room in the common area, and of course the views of the sea and the Scores were unparalleled, distracting us from petty squabbles over who used the last teabag. It was a great place to call home for five days and four nights; now we can only hope that our son chooses to attend the university so that we can return again and again!

We stayed at 38 The Scores on a recent golf trip to St. Andrews. The views were stunning, the apartment was clean and had great amenities. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose. Thanks so much!

Perfect Location!

This apartment was in a great location, had amazing views of the sea and the Old Course. We really liked how it was located close to many pubs and restaurants. My husband and I enjoyed our stay there during Christmas and would stay there again.
