'The location and resort is absolutely breathtaking! However our experience was not. When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed for dinner and later found out the chef left and they were closing the restaurant for the rest of the year. We booked this location as our first stop in Italy after traveling from the USA to fight off jet lag and specifically picked this place for an agritourismo experience. 'We were in the preseason and therefore not that busy. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff is friendly. We got a free room upgrade and it was great! Super spacious with even a double shower. But we had to go down 2 stairs (no elevator). You need a car to see something of the surroundings and this will be worthwhile! One downside: we were not impressed with the kitchen. breakfast and dinner were disappointing. '
