Chalets in Southampton

'Great location. My dog and I stayed for 2 nights so we could hike Lions head trail. The front lobby is under a much needed renovation. Hopefully they will get this finished. A nice coffee bar would be a bonus. My room was clean and partly renovated. The beds were comfy. Motel was quiet, we felt safe. A few things like a trash can in the room, clean windows, inside door lock, art work would add to the stay.'

'The motel is centrally located. Check in was fast and the front desk staff was friendly. Our room was spotless and appeared to have been renovated recently.'

'New hotel under construction from expansion it was a bit disorderly. Spacious rooms, perfect bedding, nice shower. View from the window on the hallway of the longstay facility. Breakfast could use an upgrade with less plastic and better wholewheat bread. '

'Staff was friendly. But this is simply an old, run down facilty that needs a lot of work. Rooms had the bare bones amenities. It appears to be more of a long term stay type of place. I think many of the guest lived there. Walls are very thin, and you could hear all the conversations (though there was lots of yelling) through the walls and doors. The smell in the room was STRONG. Powerful scent from some type of disinfectantor deodroizong spray i believe. Had to open all windows...

'What a fabulous weekend spend in a beautifully refurbished farmhouse. Check in was super easy with a code and keypad, and Mark texted to remind us that if we needed anything we just had to send a note.The kitchen is exceptionally done with beautiful finishings.We ate outside and enjoyed the fresh air, but there was AC on both floors to keep the house cool during the 30 degree Celsius weekend.It's a short drive to the beach, and we enjoyed a day trip in Southampton.A wonderful weekend all around.'
