« The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. P.S. don't forget to say hello to the tortoise. »

« Great little guest house and comes with a free car parking space. Donna was an excellent host along with Mia the friendly rescue dog. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts followed by a full Welsh or eggs on toast or a bacon sanwich etc. Deganwy is licensed so we were able to enjoy a drink or 2 in the evening. « We enjoyed a fabulous one night stay at Haveners. Room 2 was luxurious with a large comfy bed, beautifully decorated and a wonderful bathroom with rain head shower. It was just perfect with views of the quayside and water. Lovely to sit and watch the little Polruan ferry coming and going. « The proprietors were welcoming and very helpful with dietary intolerances. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and plentiful, proper food, not that novelle cuisiine nonsense. The beer was well-brewed and truly tasty. The parking was a bit cramped but nothing that any reasonably competent driver could not cope with. We would definitely stay there again. »
