'Fabulous three nights spent at this gem of a guest house. Steve and Elaine were perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice, room and bathroom were as good as they could be. Comfortable bed and powerful shower (always a must in my book) were spot on. Parking available for a decent price. The Arthington is a winner in Blackpool and fully deserves all its plaudits.'

'The hotel was really lovely compared to others in the area. We walked to the tower from our hotel it took 40 mins. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We could see the sea from our room, the pleasure park backed on to the back of the hotel it was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely for £19 per person I would recommend this hotel for your stay. The tram is across the main road to the left To get to the tower they only take card payment.'

'We absolutely loved our stay here. Linda and Tony have a rare gem of a place with The Scarla. Linda has personally styled the place with a unique blend of art deco vs modern and it works superbly. We could not fault any part of our stay, from the gorgeous room, comfy bed, tasty food but most important, what truly makes The Scarla a true gem, is Tony and Linda. They are the most welcoming, friendliest couple. You can see how much they enjoy meeting their guest, chatting with everyone at breakfast...

'Hotel lag in een troosteloze straat maar wel vlakbij de boulevard. De gemeenschappelijke ruimtes waren typisch Engels en gedateerd maar wel sfeervol. Onze kamer was klein, zeer sober en ook gedateerd. Het Engelse ontbijt was wel prima. Dat maakte veel goed. En het personeel was aardig.'

'Onze algehele ervaring met dit hotel is erg goed. Alles wat we wilden was aanwezig. Gratis parkeren, zeer makkelijk achter een slagboom. Goede wifi, de wifi was bovengemiddeld goed in dit hotel. Gratis ontbijt. Ruime kamer, de kamer was zeer ruim met extra zitgedeelte. Goede douche, erg fijne douche met lekkere dikke handdoeken. '

'Check-in was very simple, the property very clean and the host very helpful over the phone. We arrived late in the evening and it was so wonderful to arrive to the suite with the pullout bed made up already and a beautiful bottle of Prosecco and two glasses set out. We felt so very welcomed. A great location and a classy set up. '

'One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in at Blackpool so far and I've stayed in a few over the years! The breakfast wasn't cooked but there was no waiting time, plenty of choice and easier for kids to navigate themselves. I would definitely recommend and will be back myself! '
