'Our stay at this hostel was pretty close to perfect. Right at the start, the front desk agent, Adrian, gave us a warm welcome and was always a friendly face during our stay. He gave us some great suggestions of what to do around Mallorca and was very pleasant to talk to! The hostel was very clean, with a 5 min walk to the beach and tons of restaurants nearby. 'The hotel is in excellent condition it is fairly new or refurbished and the aesthetic/design is beautiful. The breakfast is great with full buffet and a la carte options. The pool area is fabulous there is plenty of loungers for all guests and it is nice and quiet with good food/drink service too. Only minor criticism are that the gym is extremely small, the marketing images suggest there are weights and a bench but there are just cardio machines. "We had a great week at El Cid. The hotel is perfectly located next to the beach, nearby many nice restaurants and super close to a bus stop from which you can get to Palma in 15 minutes. The staff extremely friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was nice. For the people wondering whether it's a con to be so close to the airport: during the whole week there was only one airplane that flew directly overhead. The rest was so far away that you usually couldn't even hear them, so you won't be bothered by this."
