    U zult ons huis aan het mooie Flathead Lake waarderen en hoe gemakkelijk het is om naar Kalispell, Whitefish Mountain Resort en Glacier National Park te komen.

    Onze zeil- en zeeachtergrond heeft het ontwerp en de bouw van ons 3061 vierkante meter grote huis sterk beïnvloed. Het heeft een zeer kust- en nautisch gevoel met geverfde open balkenplafonds, geverfde planken met tong en groef houten planken en vloeren van Braziliaans kersenhout. Bijna elke kamer heeft een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en het huis is versierd met onze aandenkens uit de hele wereld. De keuken heeft op maat knoestige grenen kasten plus granieten aanrecht en een prachtig uitzichtgebied dat perfect is voor uw eerste kopje koffie. De master suite en de elegante badkamer met travertin betegeling bevinden zich op de begane grond naast een kleinere slaapkamer en bad perfect voor kinderen. De woonkamer heeft een handgemaakte tegel-gashaard. Boven zijn nog twee slaapkamers en een opvallende badkamer met een groot ligbad en betegelde douche. Er is een zeer ruime familiekamer waar u games kunt spelen of een film kunt kijken. De vijfde slaapkamer bevindt zich op de derde verdieping, toepasselijk genaamd "The Crow's Nest", waar het uitzicht spectaculair is. Het dek heeft twee niveaus, een voor barbecuen en buiten dineren, de andere voor loungen en weken in de hot tub. We hebben een mooie aanlegplaats voor uw boot en twee stabiele kajaks om het meer te verkennen.

    Ons huis is ontworpen en gebouwd door ons, Robin en Patti Graham, huisbouwers en auteur van de boeken "Dove" en "Home is the Sailor".

    We bieden nu ons huis aan als wekelijkse huur, terwijl we wat meer reizen en genieten van onze kleinkinderen

The sailors home is probably our most favorite vacation destination home yet! Location is perfect. All of the amenities make the trip outstanding and the communication with the host was so easy!

Patti and Robin have created a little slice of Heaven on Flathead Lake! Their home is so welcoming- well appointed and comfortable. The decor gives a personal touch and conveys their love of sailing and the water. Our family of 7 were comfortable for our week on the lake. WeMade so many memories. Thank you both for creating such a wonderful getaway for weary souls!

We stayed in flathead Lake Montana for a family vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone. Lots of baby items, so we didn’t have to pack them. There were also lots of toddler/kids toys, games, dvd’s, to use up in the large family room. The view from the house was incredible! We did some swimming, walking, kayaking while we were there. Also drove to Glacier Nat’l Park one day…it was amazing! My family said it was one of the best trips…

Enjoyed the stay. There was confusion before we got there regarding the parking. There was plenty of room for all of the family.Loved the closeness to the lake and a somewhat protected cove.Would recommend this place to rent.

Our family (including two grandparents and our children) enjoyed a wonderful week at A Sailor's Home. The location is wonderful, with the private dock serving us well for renting a pontoon boat, a wake boat and jet skis during our week. The home reflects such pride of ownership and provides insights into the family's remarkable sailing adventures. We enjoyed the hot tub and made use of the kayaks and other water toys provided. The kitchen was well stocked with oils and spices for cooking (we cooked virtually every meal), and we loved watching the Canadian geese make their way across the lake each day. We were able to get to Glacier National Park easily. We would highly recommend this home and would stay there again in a heartbeat if we come back to the area. The hosts were gracious and welcoming and made themselves available for any questions.

We had a great stay! Everyone in our group loved the house, and they have everything you might need for a great stay! Kayaks and things for the lake, fully equipped kitchen for cooking, and more! You can tell it is a truly cared for home! We have been visiting lakeside for 10 years and this one was memorable.

What a great property. Everything you could want for a relaxing entertaining stay. The kayak's are a great plus . The younger children really enjoyed the smaller ones. Great beach area to watch the children play and they can warm up in the hot tub.

Wonderful home on Flathead Lake

Our family had an incredible time in this immaculately decorated and designed home on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset and moon rise over the mountains in the evenings as well as kayaking and boating during the day. We were able to rent a boat out to Wild Horse Island and even take a day trip into Glacier NP. It made an excellent home base for our family.

We can't say enough great things about this home. The home is very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked and in such an amazing location. Robin and Patti are great hosts and available if needed. I would recommend this vacation rental and hope to return a 3rd time! Thank you Robin and Patti!

Enjoying Flathead

This is the second time we have stayed at Robin's & Patti's home. The experience is magical with our entire family (7 adults) enjoying a peaceful and comfortable week in their beautiful home. Kayaking, fishing, hiking, boating, relaxing & cooking were all on the menu. The Graham's are gracious hosts and we look forward to continuing to use their home for future family gatherings.

Our second year staying at the property and it never disappoints. The home is immaculate and incredibly comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for, from the kitchen to the water toys. Patti and Robin are amazing hosts. They are so easy to communicate with, gracious and accommodating. Our kids love the toys they provide and the outdoor space provides everything both adults and children could want. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay at the lake.

A Delightful Sailor's Home was an amazing place for me and my family. There were 7 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room with lots of places to hang out inside and out. We stayed for a full week and could not have asked for a better location, home, or set up. The house was beautiful, clean and situated right on Flathead Lake. The dock was perfect for swimming, and the home came with all the amenities, toys, activities and accessories we could ask for. The owners were incredibly responsive and gave us tons of recommendations for what to do. We would 100% stay here again!

THE BEST

It’s hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay at this property. There were two families of four, all with children under the age of 7 and we simply didn’t want to leave. From the moment you wake up and get to take in the lakefront view in each room, to the day spent on the incredible deck, lawn and beach, it was the best lake house I’ve ever stayed at. Patti and Robin could not have been more accommodating and the pictures do not do this property justice. We will absolutely be coming back.

Amazing stay and great hosts

We loved our stay here and hope to stay here again in the future. We brought our boat with us and kept it on the dock. My boys fished on the dock as well. Kayaks and canoes are provided plus much water toys. The home is beautifully decorated and has a nice island feel. Host Patti was amazing and replied quickly to questions. She also mailed back prescriptions I forgot at their home.

We have stayed at this beautiful lake house more than once, and every visit has been nothing short of amazing. The home itself is stunning—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The owners have gone above and beyond to make it feel welcoming, from the cozy furnishings to the little details that make a big difference.The location on the lake is simply perfect. Waking up to the serene water views, enjoying coffee on the deck, and watching the sunset in the evenings made our time here so memorable. It truly feels like a peaceful retreat, yet with plenty of fun activities right at your doorstep.The accommodations are top-notch—well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for everyone to relax. You can tell, Patti and Robin, the owners care deeply about their property and about ensuring guests have a wonderful experience.We can’t recommend this lake house enough. It’s the kind of place you look forward to coming back to again and again, and we’re so grateful to have found it!

Sailors Home

We're had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The home was just perfect in every way,from the rooms to the dock (which includes all sorts of kayaks and water toys), the patios, kitchen and BBQ, just wonderful. They really thought of everything, wood for the fire pit by the lake, plenty of fuel for the BBQ, toys, games, books and DVD, each with something for all ages... and the views, just amazing. We got a lot of use from the dock with the kayaks included and a rental boat from nearby. Robin and Patti were just wonderful in every way and we are glad we got to meet them as they are so fun and interesting (not a lot of people I know have books and movies about their adventures like the Graham's). It was a perfect week.

Absolutely amazing!

Our family enjoyed a week-long stay here at the end of June. Our crew consisted of adults and kids ranging in ages from 6-13. I grew up going to Flathead lake every summer and this was my first opportunity to share that experience with my kids. Patti’s place was perfect in every way; it brought forth every bit of nostalgia from my childhood summers on the lake. It’s warm and welcoming and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need- from water toys to board games- to a range of tools, spices, linens, etc. to prepare home cooked meals. The views are stunning, grounds and dock are incredibly well maintained and provided the perfect setting to make special memories with my family. Beyond the space, Patti was communicative, kind, and accommodating. I could not have asked to a better experience and am grateful for this gem of a location to make special memories with my family.

Our favorite Flathead Lake home

If you're looking for a peaceful escape with plenty of charm, A Sailor’s Home is ideal. From the moment you arrive, you'll be captivated by the stunning lake views and the beautiful backyard. Inside, the home is immaculate with the owner’s personal memorabilia throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to whip up meals for family and friends. The bedrooms are comfy and inviting, and the bathrooms are clean and well-appointed. The best part of this lake house is the outdoor space. The grass area is perfect for kids to play and there’s a private dock where you can swim, fish, take out a kayak or access your private boat, if you choose to rent one from the nearby marinas. And at night, the fire pit is the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows and socializing. The hosts, Patti and Robin are wonderful and make sure you have everything you need for a great stay. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Vacationing on Flathead Lake has become a yearly tradition for my family and this home has been our favorite to date. You will not regret renting this home and the beautiful setting, comfortable amenities, and friendly hosts make it a place you'll want to come back to again and again.

A Gem on Flathead Lake

My family and I have been vacationing on Flathead lake for many years. This was the first time we’ve stayed on this side of the lake and we hope it will not be our last! The house was perfect for what we needed. All of the unique touches in the home, combined with the amazing view made for a perfect little gateway. We hope to return in the future to this sailors gem!

Special week!

The Grahams are great hosts. Their house is beautifully decorated and always in exceptional condition. Everything needed for a great vacation, both inside and out, is provided. We have stayed at the Graham's home many times over the last several years. Every week has been speial for our entire family and has given us all many great memories. Our grandchildren especially love kayaking in front of the house as well as taking longer trips further out on the lake, as we all do. It's also the perfect spot to boat from, and many other activities are close if you choose to spend some time away from the lake.

Early summer lakeside vacation

My family (me, my husband and 3 children) spent a week in Robin’s beautiful lakeside home. The home is high end, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The water temp was a bit chilly. We kayaked, rented a boat and fished on Flathead lake. We cooked and grilled everyday which was easy as the kitchen was set up for it. We enjoyed July 4 fireworks from the deck which was fun. We are are close to both Kaleipell and Glacier National Park. We all greatly enjoyed our stay at Robin’s special home.
