'The room was spotless and a lot of thought in the details. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were the only guests for dinner but didn't feel awkward as the staff including the chef were chatting with us. The place was full of character whilst giving attention to comfort. We absolutely loved it.'

'De kamer is prima, de badkamer eveneens (met fijne producten). Prima: waterkoker met thee en koffie, melk en koekjes en elke dag een flesje water. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, nu met yoghurtjes en fruit naast cereals en eigerecht (tomaten, worstje, bacon, champignons)naar keuze, toast. Het restaurant is best druk want het eten is heerlijk, de bar erg gezellig. 's Avonds door de drukke bar soms moeilijk parkeren.'

'Hotel in een romantische omgeving vanwege het uitzicht op het kerkje. Wel aan een drukke weg gelegen maar voldoende parkeerplaatsen. Als het mooi weer is kun je in de tuin zitten.'

'Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. '

'We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again.
