'We found the apartment’s lighting was too dark because of dark color of walls and not enough of lighting fixtures. Besides the fixtures are spot lights type so that certain areas were not covered. No headboard lights. The room is quite decent and very clean. Ample space for two people. Location is quite good, closes to the freeway leading to downtown Reykjavik.'

'Good size room. Well situated. We had a beautifull view from the room. Contact went really smooth, we asked for extra pillows and they were brought immediately. It is quite close to a busy road, so traffic is hearable. Had to close the window at night.'

'We recently stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. However, I was often woken up by noise from other guests during the night. The room felt a bit small, especially with two large suitcases and hand luggage — there wasn’t much space to move around. We also found there weren’t enough options to dry our clothes after a day out. Overall, a decent stay, but with some room for improvement.'

'We stayed here our last night in Iceland and it was wonderful. Super clean, family room was large, and the kitchenette allowed us to make a quick, cheaper dinner. Bathroom was super clean and everything was updated. We didn’t stay long, but there are lots of cute shops and food places within walking distance. Highly recommend.'

'So I really wanted to give this place five stars. Its location for the area was ideal, and the private room was excellent. Also, the check in process was perfect; however, the shared bathroom situation was a bit off-putting. Now, I’ve stayed at many locations with shared bathrooms so that wasn’t the issue. 'Basic lodging that met the needs of our party of 7. We were in building 53 (upstairs) and there is no real lounging space but the bedrooms are spacious. Basic soap provided and some tea/coffee. Beds were comfortable but as others have mentioned the floors can be loud but slippers are provided to help the noise. The building is close to the main area where shops and restaurants are so definitely loud at times…earplugs can help.'
