Ocean views! Walk across road to beach! Relaxing beach house flooded with light!

The Salty Seahorse is a two storey beach house with ocean views from both levels.

Head across the road and down a walkway and you’ll find yourself on the beautiful beach, and a short walk in the other direction leads you to the entrance to the Rocky Cape National Park walking trails. Behind the property is spacious pasture land surrounded by low mountains.

The property is only 7 years old, filled with light and painted white throughout. It is decorated in relaxing a coastal colour palette, with three new queen size beds, and a choice of hard or soft pillows for your sleeping comfort.

The kitchen has gas hotplates and an electric oven, microwave, Nespresso, and even a vintage orange squeezer.

Pademelons (often with their joeys) come to visit every evening to feast on the front lawn.

There are two large living areas - one downstairs adjoining the kitchen, and one upstairs with a balcony. Both have ocean views. There is a front deck and a large undercover rear deck as well.

We have multiple seating options for relaxing. A three-seater lounge, two two-seater lounges, club chairs, wing back chairs, and outdoor chairs.

The house has four bedrooms, with three new queen size beds, and a choice of hard or soft pillows for your sleeping comfort.

Please book for the number of bedrooms you need during your stay, and we will open them accordingly.

For a single person or a couple?
Book for 2 people - and you will have access to The Sea Turtle Room and its en-suite.

The Sea Turtle Room has an ocean view and a queen size bed. The en-suite has a large shower, basin and toilet.

Need two queen sized beds?
Book for 4 people -and you will have access to The Sea Turtle Room and en-suite plus The Mermaid Room and the Main Bathroom.

The Mermaid Room has a queen sized bed and views of pasture land and low mountains. It is situated opposite the Main Bathroom.

Need three queen sized beds?
Book for 6 people and you will have access to The Sea Turtle Room and en-suite plus The Mermaid Room and the Main Bathroom plus The Starfish Room.

The Starfish Room has a queen sized bed and views of pasture land and low mountains. It is situated across the living room from the Mermaid Room.

Need a single bed for a child?
Book for 3 people and you will have access to the Sea Turtle Room and its en-suite, and The Dolphin Room.( note - not the main bathroom)

The Dolphin Room has a single bed with a foam mattress and a puffy soft topper. It is situated next to the Starfish Room.

Unoccupied bedrooms will be locked, which means you receive a cheaper rate than if they are all open, because we don't have to clean every room! Yay!

Please note that at the moment the house is not suitable for children under 5 years old due to a steep staircase with no baby gate, and decks with drops.

Please note that you do not have access to the garage, but the driveway fits two to three cars, and there is plenty of street parking.
