'My ETA was well past the last check in, but a member of staff was kind enough to stay behind.
The dorm had 4 bunkbeds, an AC unit and a fan. The AC and fan worked well. Each guest was given a towel and a locker big enough to hold a large backpack. The bed had an Asian style firm mattress and a thin sheet, a private light, 2 sockets and a small shelf.

'The staff at CoCo Grande are the best, they treat everyone like family. It’s clean, quiet, and relaxing. It is dated but that gives it character. Traffic would be the only negative factor but that is a problem all over the city of Dumaguete.'
'Overall, I am happy with the place. I stayed in room 203. The king size bed was comfy. The room is so spacious but my only issue is the toilet. The space between the toilet bowl and the wall is so small that it would be a problem for tall people. Breakfast choices are ok. Staff in general are so nice and helpful. The location is ok but you will definitely need a car. We brought a car but am sure the hotel can arrange transportation. '
'De accommodatie diende zijn doel, prima plek voor de overnachting. De afhandeling aan de receptie was soepel en vriendelijk. Onze verzoeken werden prima opgevolgd. Voldoende dichtbij het centrum, zeker als je over een auto beschikt. Er is een parkeerplaats voor de hotelgasten.'
'We highly recommend the Hotel Palwa. Our third-floor room was in great condition: mattress and pillows were comfortable, Wi-Fi, shower, toilet, AC all worked very well. The hotel room was quiet, yet it is easily within walkable distance to downtown attractions. As a side note, there is a small bakery directly south, across the street, which serves the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had!

'Great venue - what you see is what you get. There are things to improve on, a fridge in the room would be most wanted rather than a communal one on each floor after all it’s hot in the Philippines and you want a cold drink at night. Pool fantastic, staff fantastic and overall an 8.5 out of 10. Breakfast a little basic but the cafe behind does fantastic Filipino cuisine. It’s like an Ibis or your basic Novotel '
'it’s near Robinsons Mall and Ceres Bus Terminal which i like very much. my room came with a bacony facing the street. it’s not quite but it’s safe and free home cook breakfast all day.'
