When we first entered the room, a foot stool/bench was in the way and a set of pillows was missing from the bed. Maybe housekeeping was in a rush? Then we sat down, you know getting settled etc. Since we were on a long distance trip, we wanted to watch the weather. The remote was dead. We aren't so broken that we couldn't manually change the channels. Then, I went to brush my teeth. The faucet barely trickled which in this case was a good thing because the whole sink was clogged and any more than a trickle would have over flowed the sink with allllll the nasty hair and gunk that was in the sink! Gross!!! If we hadn't had driven a 1000 miles that day, I would have left. I do think (hope) the sheets were clean and we went to sleep. In the morning, we discovered hair in the shower, no shampoo, and no bodywash. It wasn't like it was the end of the bottle and getting that last bit out...no! These two bottles were bone dry indicating they have been that way for awhile. The towels seemed clean, but stained. We had chosen the hotel because we like eating a morning breakfast because then you can brush your teeth and load up to go. After so much lack of attention in the room, we decided to skip breakfast because we didn’t want to risk food poisoning at this point. Walking in, its just an average older motel with older carpet and stains on the floor, but nothing that would scream run away now.
