'Very clean , comfortable room and Inn. Staff, Lisa and Penny couldn’t have been nicer, helping with our trip to Cumberland Island with packed lunch in a lunchbox. If you’ve never had a claw foot tub, like me, a little challenging to get in and out of. An issue with the hot water in our room, that oddly seemed better later in morning after breakfast. Beds tall and comfortable, though my husband prefers a bit firmer mattress. We celebrated a friend’s birthday there, and Lisa put her special touch...

'Very welcoming staff at the front desk. Room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a mini refrigerator and small microwave in the room. Definitely not a fancy looking hotel from the outside, but completely remodeled and a great place for a quick stay!'

'We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!'

'The room Was excellent. Quiet atmosphere, warm cookies nightly and friendly staff. Our room was serviced everyday and brought fresh linens daily. Excellent stay and the location can’t be beat. About 1/4 mile from the beach. Easy walking distance. And super close to great breakfast and dinner options. Sliders bard and grill have nightly bands on weekends and during the season every night. Great stay '

'Wonderful place that makes you feel at home! Beautiful rooms, located within walking distance to shopping, the river, and fantastic restaurants. Our hostess was so accommodating, she provided amazing breakfasts and afternoon snacks and wine. We will return!'

'I came here a few years ago with my mother and had to come back with my girlfriend. Absolutely beautiful hotel for a fair price. Breakfast was excellent (if a bit pricy), staff was kind and helpful. It’s also very close to the beach, so we could take a 3 minute walk over there whenever we wanted. Highly recommend this hotel! Would love to return someday.'
