'Fantastic hotel with fantastic service! Our room with the semi-open air barh was wonderful, and the private onsen was lovely. The food was spectacular! We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back!'

'The hotel is old, it gives the feeling you've travelled back in time. We booked the hotel to experience classic room with futon beds. The view from the room was very nice. Breakfast / dinner buffet was fine. The room came with kimono / yukata and quite a lot of people were wearing them in the restaurant too. We had a non-smoking room. The room smelled a bit, but this is just from wooden materials in the room in combination with the hot weather. It certainly did not smell like someone had...

'This is an additional review to the first. To those of you thinking that it’s a good location, forget it. Yes, it’s scenic forest with a lot of vegetation. But it’s too secluded. Theres absolutely nothing you can walk to. You have to taxi everywhere. To give you a picture, it’s like 10-13 mile to the Tobu line and a little more to the JR Station. Just a simple taxi from the station to the hotel is like $60 average for a half hour drive. The hotel offers no Shuttle services. So, plan to add a...

'Lovely accommodation with lots a space. 15 min walk to bus and station'

Badkamer/toilet is heel klein.

'Hotel seemed recently renovated. Large clean room with own bathroom. Good value. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner. We had dinner in a local restaurant a couple of hundred meters down the street. Kinugawa Onsen itself is nog the prettiest of onsen towns, but fairly close to Nikko, that is why we chose tot stay there.'

'Words can’t capture how stunning this property is. The care and attention to detail shine through in every corner, and the staff’s genuine hospitality made the experience even more special. I loved my stay and can’t wait to return!'
