'We loved our stay at this quiet and peaceful lodge in the woods! Perfect for our family getaway. We spent our days exploring nearby beaches and trails followed by evening soaks in the hot tub in the private and tranquil backyard. The house is spacious with a large kitchen for meal preparation and a comfortable living room with wood stove fireplace for relaxing evenings. Highly recommend!'

'We’ve been in Rowan Cottage for a week and we loved every minute of it. The house itself is very well equiped and very spacious. The view from both the sitting area as the bedroom is spectacular. The grounds surrounding the cottages are well kept with a good balance for nature and leisure. All the litle resting areas were you can enjoy the spectacular views are amazing. We had a great time and will be back if possible!'

'Just what we were looking for -- quiet, right on the ocean, lot of windows and balcony looking over the ocean (saw seal, otters, orcas swimming by, along with sea birds and Bald Eagle, deer right outside the door), personal hot tub on the deck each evening. Just basic kitchen stuff (microwave, no oven/stove) -- but that's what we expected. 9 miles (15 minutes) to Sooke -- groceries, restaurants, etc. Lots of beaches all up and down the coastal road.We stayed 4 nights.'
