'The week we spent at Voortrekkers Lodge, Levenwick, was an absolutely marvellous experience. The spectacular view from the lodge, the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts and the cosy, clean accomodation all contributed to a wonderful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We adored the goats and the almost-goat-sheep at our front door! Thank you, Niki and Piet, we are surely planning to come back some day. Maybe I will even try the smoked, freshly caught fish then...'

'We had a wonderful stay at the Voortrekker apartment. It had everything you would need and amazing views. The hot tub was much welcomed after a day of walking. Nikki and Piet were really welcoming and helpful. We hope to go back one day.'

'The property is immaculate and beautiful, very comfortable with fabulous views. Location is great for exploring by car or on foot. Niki and Piet are really excellent hosts, very accommodating and great to talk to. The sauna and hot tub are fabulous too. We had such an enjoyable holiday, some highlights included getting married in Lerwick, a boat trip to Mousa and visiting the broch, exploring the Jarlshof site and walking across to St Ninians and walking around the island. 10/10!'
