'Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.'

'The hotel seemed to be under construction so the pool and gym were closed. Cable worked for about an hour during our stay. The front desk sent maintenance supervisor but ,he couldn't fix the problem. We also informed him that the shower bar almost fell on my husbands foot. Very disappointed with my stay!'

'We have stayed here before and loved it so we booked again. This time we got a room on the first floor next to the ice machine. A wedding party was going on which was excessively noisy but honestly the ice machine was the bigger issue. Couldn't Believe it was across the hall from us. To top it off the TV they were having issues so only had 4 tv stations.
Again nice hotel and great location so don’t look past it just make sure your not next to the ice machine or first floor.'

'This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.'
