'They are renovating so the whole place basically is a mess. It stunk horribly in there.'

'Rooms were small but clean and modern. Nice seating pad near the window. Overall look of hotel was nice! Fitness room had three machines that were usable but all had its defaults.. Breakfast was really good, apples and oranges were nice! Eggs and sausage/biscuits and gravy also. Management wasnt very friendly, no spontaneaous greetings on every encounter. Didnt seem very interested or pleased with running the hotel.. Close to the shoals which was good!'

'Voor een tussenstop kwamen we uit in Florence en besloten daar een nacht te overbruggen. Zowel het hotel als Florence bleken een goede keuze te zijn. Zoals vele hotels in de US is de inrichting min of meer standaard en is het belangrijk dat alles schoon is. dat was het geval. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd met voldoende keuze.'

'Flawless execution by the Gunrunner staff from beginning to end! The pre-arrival instructions were spot-on. Our room was clean and personalized for us when we arrived (they had left us a gift of wine and a card congratulating us for our wedding anniversary that we were there celebrating - nice touch!). We were staying in Florence to see some of the local sites and restaurants, but the highlight was the Gunrunner bar and many seating areas around the bar. We were able to listen to some live music...

'The room was very dirty. There was a dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door. The air vent in the bathroom had 1/2 inch of dust and build up on it. There was hair all on the carpet. It you walked on the floor hair hung on your feet. There was hair on the counter in the bathroom and the night stand. The floor in the elevator and hall had something spilled and not cleaned up and it had been there so long it has turned black. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. '

'I stayed overnight for a leadership conference. My room was ready early so that was a plus. I had a balcony overlooking the pool with a river view, in which I witnessed an amazing sunrise. I did have an issue with the cleanliness of my shower. There was long dark hair on the shower wall where someone had shampooed their hair. This was an oversight by the cleaning crew so I have to knock off a star for that. The front desk staff was very nice and offered to send someone up to clean it. ...

'Leuk hotel, wel langs een drukke weg. Goede schone kamers en enkele restaurants op loopafstand, alleen zijn er geen voetpaden, dus uitkijken.'

'Prima hotel, leuke omgeving, veel te zien, de Fame studios, Alabama Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Tennessee River. Mooi zwambad.'
