My family and I stayed at UH Suite Coex from 26 Dec to 2 Jan.
The room itself was amazing — spacious, clean, and very comfortable. However, considering the price paid and the fact that we were staying on the 7th floor, several operational issues significantly affected our experience.
Throughout our stay, the lift broke down multiple times, and construction was still ongoing, which was inconvenient.
One major issue was the confusing and inconsistent communication regarding the laundry service. We were clearly informed that the laundry drop-off cut-off time was 12am, but when we went down at 11pm+, our laundry was rejected. This resulted in us having to carry our laundry back up via the stairs late at night, which was extremely tiring and frustrating.
On our check-out day, there was no staff at the reception at all. We had no choice but to leave our key cards unattended on the table, with no one around to assist or acknowledge our check-out.
I would also like to caution guests who plan to use the laundry service — our clothes were mixed with other guests’ laundry, and several Heattech items went missing. This caused significant inconvenience during winter, and we had to repurchase essential clothing during our stay.
While the room quality was excellent, the service coordination, communication, and overall management need serious improvement, especially given the price point.
