Negatief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
It seems that the Cloud 9 co has given up on the Seaside Hghts, NJ inn. There was no toilet paper. No bar soap, just shampoo packets for everything. Nothing in the five drawers (not even a bible, no napkins of any kind, no TV/cable instruction booklet), except, a package of a single dose of Narcan, which makes me think their usual clientele are of a particular type. There was a loud growling dog in the neighboring room. The Wifi was out, and the TV remote wouldn't change the volume. An old cheese sandwich in a plastic bag was in the fridge. I had to clean the toilet seat -- which was old and seemed to be chipping. There were hairs in the shower. MOST OF ALL -- I called the front desk and even the off-site manager about the most immediate problems, but NO ONE ever came to deliver TP or address anything else -- I had to go downstairs myself in the morning. There was an old broken refrigerator & microwave on the ground level near the stairs, and the pool was not covered & had dirty leaves and things in it. The one positive: the king bed was comfortable. I really think I should have gotten some money back. It was the cheapest room available on Trivago (the after-tax total was about $75), but the condition and service was below even very cheap expectations. I really wanted a nice getaway for the night, and it was just awful. The next day when I was trying to reach a human to lodge my comments, I could only reach AI. I would warn anyone to steer clear of it, & all Cloud 9s
