'Mooi hotel, ligt tegen Galle aan. Schitterende locatie, rustig zwembad. Personeel blijft erg 'in de buurt', sommigen spreken niet goed Engels. Restaurant niet goed.'

Although the surrounding area (3 km west of Galle Fort) is unassuming, the hotel itself is in a beautiful colonial style with every detail and unique decoration carefully thought through. The restaurant, just across the street and on the beach is also beautiful with excellent food. Highly recommended.'

'One of the best hotel stays I've ever had and one of the highlights on my Sri Lanka trip. Comfortable accommodation, great restaurant and lovely staff. The people were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The front desk also helped me organise a wonderful day trip and transfers. The Sun House is also on a good location - in the hill area so it's quiet but close enough to the fort. Thoroughly recommend! '
