'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'The hotel is in a great location in Tamarindo. The room was beautiful, cool, and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful. The grounds were immaculate, and the food was delicious. Our package included breakfast, which was plentiful. Would gladly stay there again.'

'Geweldig hotel direct aan het strand. Het strand zelf is rustig en de zee heeft een heerlijke temperatuur. Er komen zelf apen over het terrein 🐒 Ruime kamer met een goede badkamer en een goede douche. Restaurant is ook goed. Zeker een aanrader!'

Brandon went out of his way to make us a last-minute dinner reservation on the beach at Uma's when we arrived later than we had expected. We definitely recommend this hotel for couples looking for a romantic private retreat. We only wish that they offered food and had a bar so you could just enjoy the property without leaving. We will definitely stay again. '
