'On arrival Expedia booking which I paid in advance was declined but I wasn't informed so tried to pay with amex , but they wouldn't accept it. So had to pay on alternative card. Room was hot and stuffy, there were no bath towels or shower gel. The small kettle had a very small cable which was not detachable and was a stretch to get to a socket which I subsequently burnt my hand on trying to pour a drink. No hot food in the hotel incl evening meals and sparse continental breakfast was poor'

'Prima hotel en perfecte ligging naast de treinstation waar je niks van hoort in het hotel! Je bent binnen 10 a 15 minuten in het centrum van Cambridge met de trein en vlakbij Duxford. Echt een aanrader! Ontbijt was uitstekend en de kamer was erg schoon'

'Very nice hotel. The people are friendly. The room was not to big, but oké.'

'Uniek was de bijbehorende pub met gastvrouw en het meeneem ontbijt dat zij ons meegaf, wegens vroeg vertrek! Douchen was zo goed als onmogelijk...de rest van de dubbele, kamer was prima'

'Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.'

'A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.'

'Very good'

'Centrally located, near to old university, park and all kind of eateries'

'What a serene hotel in the lively city of Cambridge. The rooms overlooking the courthouse are particularly lovely, simple but good. It’s a great base for any visit to the city. The only downside was the late start of breakfast service. We would have loved to grab a bite at 6:30 AM before heading out.'

'Hotel was fine etc etc etc'
