'We had an amazing 4 days in this lovely house in Muir Beach. The views are so stunning, we were tempted not to leave the house and deck at all ... but we were lured by the walk down garden-lined staircases to the beach, and by hiking in Muir Woods just minutes away. The owner left us very helpful information about the area, and the house was cozy and spotless. We can't wait to come back!'

The house is tucked away in a peaceful, scenic spot with access to amazing hiking trails right out the door. 'I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy...

'My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. Many great restaurants within walking distance and very cute town. The houseboat is clean and updated. Has everything for cooking meals in too. The bed is very comfortable. Our favorite place was the top deck. We sat up there every evening to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Mallory was always responsive to messages and made a great video to show how to find the houseboat and use everything inside. It was a unique experience...
