Great resort on the beach
The room is with much glass and enough space to put your clothes and other stuff in. They clean the room well. The bathroom is open so if it’s raining the water is in the bathroom aswell. The key and the cart that brings the electricity are together so if you leave the room, the airco stops. In front of the resort is the beach and they have some grass with beds on them. The swimmingpool is at the beach as well and it has a shower. A lot of choices at breakfast, very good! The water for the beach is full of coral!!!!

Mooi hotel, jammer van het ontvangst
Mooi hotel aan het strand met schone moderne kamers. Wegens bouwwerkzaamheden achter het hotel gevraagd om een kamer ver daar vandaan. Werd direct gehoor aan gegeven en kregen zelfs een upgrade naar een grotere kamer. Verder kan je 's ochtends (tegen betaling) heerlijke cappuccino drinken (beste van onze hele reis door Thailand). Ontbijt is ook erg goed, ruime keuze in hoe je eitje klaargemaakt wil hebben. Happy hour is wat misleidend helaas. Als je goed leest krijg je bij een bestelling van twee cocktails, de derde gratis. Niet echt handig gezien de meeste hotelgasten met zn tweeën zijn. Je moet ieder dus twee cocktails per persoon drinken wil je er beide een gratis krijgen. Voelde beetje misleidend, en dat is jammer. Ontvangst in het hotel was echt een 'No-go'. We werden netjes met een tuktuk opgehaald van de boot, maar vervolgens via de achterkant afgezet. Dit was een grote bouwput, waar je nog een stuk door de modder moest lopen om het hotel te bereiken. Dit deed wel af aan het vakantie 'gevoel'. Ik zou mijn gasten nooit hier door heen laten gaan. Verwelkom ze dan via de voorkant (die overigens prachtig is). Of haal ze op met de longtail boot. Verder erg naar ons zin gehad.

Erg groot en druk hotel waar veel aandacht is voor
De kamer was ruim, het balkon piepklein, de badkamer is gedeeltelijk buiten. Dat is niet fijn i.v.m. De muggen, die dan door de badkamer de slaapkamer in komen. Bedden niet geweldig, handdoeken oud en gerafeld. Voor ons was dit hotel te massaal. Erg veel mensen, druk op het strand en bij het ontbijt. Het ontbijt is erg goed, veel keuze en er wordt goed bijgevuld. Het lijkt allemaal nieuw maar... Niet altijd goed afgewerkt. Als je zegt dat je een 4- sterrenhotel bent, moet alles oké zijn, vind ik. En het was het allemaal net niet. Er liggen veel bootjes en er komen en gaan ook veel bootjes. Dat is onrustig wanneer je wilt zwemmen of snorkelen.

Super mooie kamer!!
Wij hadden een ontzettend mooie en grote kamer met een prachtige badkamer. Geen buiten douche dus. Het hotel ligt op een rustige lokatie zodat je geen last hebt van het nachtleven op het eiland.

The island of Koh lipe is very small but has a lot of accommodations to choose from. We liked the Idyllic because it was on a very nice beach, two wonderful pools, bar access from one of the pools, good food options, excellent breakfast buffet, friendly staff, and nice clean rooms.

We had an excellent holiday at Idyllic big thanks to Ken that with his hospitality made our stay perfect. Highly recommend also the restaurant, we had lunch and dinner everyday and the food was amazing with large portions, breakfast always with different menu ( never get bored ).All the staff were friendly and very attentive with the smile on the face, this resort is excellent managed, We will back here for sure !

The hotel had construction during our stay, including on the weekend with the loud grinding and banging noise by swimming pool and the beach where most people were trying to relax. And the smell of burning metal. It was horrible to have to deal with it especially when we were on vacation. There was no posting about the construction on the website when we booked it.

Nice place
Not bad. Didn't get a room with a pool view as we booked. Just a room next to a path. Beach is lovely. Can swim and snorkel from the beach too. Not too many boats. Air con didn't work in our room but was fixed quickly. Staff very service minded and friendly. You can walk into town. Takes 10 mins. Don't need the shuttle. Breakfast was really nice. Lots of lovely places to eat and have a drink on the beach. (about 1.5 km long)

Our pain point will be good point for the future. During our stay some rooms and the pool area was under reconstruction. During day time it was very loud at the pool and the beach related to the reconstruction. Neither we haven’t been informed in advance that the hotel is in reconstruction or any compensation was offered to us.

Er helt greit hotell, men...
Et helt greit hotell, beliggenhet er bra. Stranden er helt ok, de driver og pusset opp så mye støy. Frokost er bare helt greit. Og så har de et stort diesel aggregat som står og går døgnet rundt der, og det bråker endel. Og på øya som mange andre steder i Thailand et søple problem, finnes ikke noen søppelkasser rundt omkring på øya, så her har de en jobb og gjøre.

We just spent a week at Idyllic and had a wonderful time. The gardens are wonderfully landscaped with 2 pools to choose from. We had a room on the second floor looking towards reception. The one drawback is that none of the rooms have privacy/sheer curtains, so you are stuck either having blockout curtains drawn all day or having everyone looking in on you. The bed was on the hard side for us, pillows also firm and high. The hotel is right at one end of sunrise beach which means you don’t have all the long tail boats parked right in front of you, although it’s a coral beach so it can be rough on your feet. The snorkelling off the house reef is one of the best ones we’ve seen. Breakfast buffet was decent. The selection is not huge, but a lot of the hot items are changed daily. There is a lovely chicken noodle bar and also roti station. The wifi was pretty patchy and slow throughout the property. Staff are polite and courteous, we had an issue with very noisy neighbours and asked to change rooms the next morning which was done promptly with no questions. There is a bit of reno going on throughout, so lounging by the beach will be quite noisey, it looks like they should be done by Xmas. There is only 1 shuttle a day at 6pm to walking street, but it’s literally 5 minutes on foot to reach the top of the section.

Schon zum zweiten Mal der Strand ist schön die Insel ist toll aber das tollste ist das Personal immer freundlich immer hilfsbereit man sieht dass in diesem Resort dass das Personal immer zusammenarbeitet als Team. Ich habe mich beide male hier sehr wohl gefühlt und es wird sicher nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Gratulation an das Management dass es geschafft hat ein wirklich tolles Team zu bilden man hat fast den Eindruck das Team wäre eine Familie. Der Gast steht immer im Vordergrund Danke für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt

Well maintained place with nice staff. The service could be better, there are really, lots of mosquitos so make sure to bring mosquito repellent. The wifi was lost because of rain on the first night and never fixed till we checked out. And they gave a coupon that can’t be used when we're paying but must be redeemed when we're ordering which we weren’t informed about and seems inefficient. The breakfast was alright and the food at the restaurant was nice.

Oj vad nöjda vi är!! Det här hotellet är helt fantastiskt och jag skulle rekommendera alla att bo här. Till att börja med är servicen fantastisk, alla är supertrevliga och serviceminded, städningen toppen, rummen fräscha och fina, poolbaren och restaurangen jättebra och strandläget är förmodligen det bästa på hela ön! Vi gick runt och kollade alla stränder nämligen. Wifit är bra och räcker ned till stranden om man gillar sånt. Gångavstånd till centrum och tog ca 8 minuter. Hotellet har egna bilar som ger gratis skjuts vid ankomst och avresa från hotellet till båten. Annars kostar det 50 bath per person in till centrum med vanlig taxi. Från stranden tar det ca 10 min att gå längs stranden bort till zodiak bar (sunset beach). Återigen: personalen var fantastisk. Många skratt nere vid poolbaren. Rekommenderar starkt.
