Gorgeous New 2BR Family Beach Retreat with Paddle Boat

Beautiful 2BR, 1BA Cabin with huge beach on beautiful, clear Big Ripley Lake in Vacationland!(Northwestern Wisconsin) Big Ripley lake is a spring-fed lake with lots of sand and clear water. Our beachfront location makes it perfect for families with kids of all ages. A paddle boat is provided for you to explore the lake! If interested, a pontoon is also available for rent at an additional cost. If interested, please let us know and we will provide boat rental information.

Enjoy your day relaxing on the beach, boating, and fishing - or take advantage of the extensive trail system nearby - perfect for snowmobiling, biking, or 4 wheeling. End your day with perfect views of the sunset and a campfire on the beach.

Cabin Features:
• Master Bedroom has queen bed, overlooks beach/lake
• Second bedroom has a bunk bed with a trundle bed - 2 twins, 1 full bed.
• Living room has queen sofa sleeper.
• Pack and play available.
• Bring your own sleeping bags. Bring extra pillows if you have more than 8 guests staying
• Bedding and bath towels provided.
• Gourmet kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and lots of counter space! Kitchen dishes, flatware, utensils, and linens provided. 4-cup coffee maker/filters and Keurig provided - bring your own ground coffee or K-Cups.
• Dining Room table can seat up to 8.
• Screened in sunroom table can seat up to 8.
• Private Washer/Dryer

We had a wonderful weekend at Ripley Retreat! The cabin is adorable - updated, clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake is beautiful especially at sunset with the fall foliage. Our dogs had the best time playing in the crystal clear water and on the sandy beach. Paul was great to rent from - friendly and quick communication. We hope to be back soon! Thank you!

The place was beautiful. We had a great time. The views and private beach was amazing. Our dogs loved the beach and playing in the water. The owners were so nice and easy to communicate with. They have literally thought of everything. Unfortunately we had some pretty cold weather but even so we made the best of it. We would definitely love to come back next summer.

This cabin was exactly as expected from the listing. It is clean, even being located ON the beach the floors looked brand new. It turned out we overpacked - almost everything we needed was available to us there, making our stay comfortable and easy. The lake is beautiful and great for swimming. It is pretty shallow near the beach so my kids had a ton of space to play safely. We will return!

Perfect Family Getaway

Wow! This place was perfect for our family of 3. The beach was just as beautiful as the pictures show. The owners have thought of everything, from toiletries to a fully-stocked kitchen to extra bedding to outdoor furniture and games. We rented the pontoon for an extra fee (less for 5 days than we would have paid elsewhere for 5 hours!). There is a pond behind the cabin that I was afraid would mean lots of misquitos. I was wrong. I did not see a single misquito on 5 days. I would certainly go back!

Jake at the Lake

We and our Labrador Retriever Jake stayed 9 evenings and throughly enjoyed this home. Every window at the back of the cabin showcases a view of the serene lake, from the dining room to the living room to the primary bedroom. We relaxed and even worked a few days given the fiber-optic internet. The sandy beach is perfect for lounging and mere steps from the beautifully clear lake where you can see the bottom. The kitchen is terrifically outfitted for cooking. Within 15 minutes, the location has access to incredible day-hiking trails and a distillery we visited more than once. Our trip pooped out our puppy and filled our souls! Thank you Lehman Family for sharing Ripley Retreat with us!

Relaxing at Ripley Beach

The cabin and property was wonderful. Our weather did not cooperate as much as we would of liked but even in the rain we enjoyed the cabin stay and had a couple of days of beach time swimming and playing in the lake and lounging on the beach. We were able to do a lot of fishing and had a great time on the lake fishing, watching eagles in their nesting area and also a family of loons. Beautiful lake and area. Enjoyed every moment.

Nice fishing for young teenagers

Took grandson’s fishing for a week. Great small lake to catch bass and pike. Cabin was a nice size for the 4 of us. Paul was great to work with. Loved the bakery, coffee shop, and bait shops in Spooner. Spooner has a nice grocery store. Practiced baseball in Shell Lake. Watched movies at night on Netflix.

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful time at Ripley Retreat. The house was very clean upon arrival and checking in was easy. The place was the perfect size for our family of 5 with enough room to sleep as well as spread out when needed. We enjoyed ice fishing with tipups and were able to catch a few Northerns and Bass not too far from shore. We would love to stay here again! Thanks!

All the basics for a great getaway!

Last minute fall weekend getaway. Serene Lake in just the right location. Had everything we needed for planned meals at home with quick excursions to Hunt Hill, Hayward, and the Namekagon. The dock was still in - chased around some grebes, otters, and watches the bald eagles build a nest. Nothing else I could want for. Thanks.

Great Getaway!

Really enjoyed my stay. Perfect location for lots of hiking opportunities. The lake was beautiful! My dog loved swimming! Very easy access with the beach and clear water. Cabin was clean and had everything you would need. Two thumbs up for sure!
