An old Winery renovated and transformed into a very stylish villa with amazing oriental garden and a tiny swimming pool Situated in the peaceful and traditional village of "Finikia" in Oia The Winery House (main domain), part of the "Winery Villa" complex, was the last winery which operated in Fiinikia until the 70's. This impressive construction was built by Santorinian craftsmen using local materials like Aspa (volcanic ash), Poria (red volcanic stones) chipped around the doors and windows, gray and red volcanic stone stairs, traditional doors and traditional concrete floors. Iron railings in all windows were used as protection from the pirates. The building is composed by two interconnected large cave rooms (canavas) of a total 140 sq.m. surface. There was the winery production and the barrels. Both enter from the courtyard where the main entrance to the house is. These canavas with impressive proportions and domed roof, half caved and half external, follow the typology of a large church due to constructional and operational reasons. Build benches along the stone walls used to support the wine barrels. A crypt in the wall that separates the canavas is the "ratsidio" where took place the distillation of raki, is now used as a guard robe. The big open space (of over 80 sq. m.) of the eastern canava includes, the living room with build benches, the dining room, the kitchen and an (open) cave bedroom with a double bed. It looks strange that this house having only two bedrooms is stated for 6 guests. The major bedroom is one entire hall (the western canava) of 60 sq.m This includes the master bedroom with one build-in Kings size bed, and above it, a wooden (open) loft with two single sleeping mattresses. Both rooms are decorated in high style. Both chambers (canavas) are open to a large "oriental garden' of 250 sq.m full of flowers, trees and wine plants, shared with a small studio, (guest house), called "House of the singing birds". Each house has it's own private space and terrace. A tiny swimming pool lies in front of the "Wineryhouse", meant exclusively for it's guests. The fully equipped kitchen in combination with the oriental garden make this place ideal for preparing and enjoying great gourmet dinners indoors, or out doors.

This house is situated in the 'FINIKIA traditional settlement' which is a protected neighborhood of Oia. No cars are allowed inside Finikias narrow streets, and the village is peaceful and relaxing. Distance of the house from the bus stop on the main road is 150 meters (walking), from the taverns of Finikia 80 meters, and from the center of Oia 500-800 meters. Nearest sandy beach (Baxedes) is 1500 m downhill
There are two external safety cameras, one at the entrance and one on the terrace of the house without a tape recorder.
