The service is terrible. Everything is extremely slow with no enthusiasm. However they include hefty service charge into prices, without delivery the corresponding level of service. I would not recommend to stay there.

Average experience
All and all, the hotel is not bad. It's just average, the food was meh, the pool was kind of dirty. I had no hot water for my entire stay and no water at all at one point. They offered me a free alacarte brakfast witha sea view but it wasnt free, before even having any coffe of water , they wanted me to sit down a listed to a insanely aggressive vacation club sales pitch. I don't think I'm ever going back to a belive hotel

It was an average experience, I like it they try to theme up the buffet menus, but the food was kind of tasteless. I was offered a free a la carte breakfast, apparently included in the reservation, but it also came with me most aggresive sales pitch i've seen.

Viaje decepcionante
Una hora para el cheking. El servicio es muy lento. Aparte de que el hotel tiene problemas de electricidad, según informaron, y nos exigieron (si queríamos hospedarnos) completar un formulario de descargo si surgía algún problema que atentara la vida de las personas. Fue mi primera visita a este lugar y espero no volver.

The property was run down. Everything was old and damaged. The bathroom had no door and the ceiling fan was covered with dust. There was limited food that was terrible. Lunch and dinner were the same food. The snack bar by the beach only served rice, beans, hot dogs and burgers. The male staff was always asking women for their phone number and the employees running the activities were always trying to get you to buy things. Very uncomfortable stay ended up leaving early

This is my 5th stay at Hamaca, my last one was over 9 years ago. I went exclusively to accompany my father for his birthday, because absolutely he loves the hot jacuzzi in the garden pool. But expecting that to be working is too much to ask. I could not believe how neglected this place was. They are shutting down the garden side during the week, but if the pool remains open, they should also get the jacuzzi running. The food choices and service were good. Entertainment was good, but it had declined sharply since my last visit. Check in was slow, but any issues after that were rapidly resolved by the front desk. I have been to over a dozen resorts, including Hamaca, but I never had a staff asking for money 💵. I spent the only night fully awake because of a horrible smell in the mattress by the glass door in room 017. I swear something died on that mattress. I am not planning on returning to resort.
