BONNE SITUATION GEOGRAPHIQUE

Appartement confortable et très bien situé, il est proche de la zone coloniale. Il y a 3 piscine, mais pas entretenues à la période où j'y étais, cependant la terrasse est très agréable jouissant d'1 très jolie vue sur la marina. Personnels de la résidence bienveillants et sympathique. j'y retournerai.

Unfortunately, I had some issues with the apartment which could not be fixed during my stay. The door to the common bathroom was off its hinges when we got there and could not be repaired by the workman who came. We were therefore without a door to the main bathroom for the duration of the stay of 5 days. The other door frames had some issues with termites and could not be repaired either one of the doors keep draging on the ground. One of the chairs in the dining room was broken. There wasnt sufficient pots and pans, there was no frying pan and the tips of the knives were all broken. There was only one remote for all the televisions and one remote for all AC units in the apartment. The pool was not really usable and needed some cleaning. The host however was very responsive and apologetic about the issues, offering two extra nights which we could not take up since we had to return home. Overall, it was a decent apartment, but I did not enjoy the stay unfortunately.

Good evening. I am disappointed about the last place we stayed in Santo Domingo. It was very ill equipped. What they advertised is not what we found and I can say it was the worst place I have booked on Vrbo or Airbnb!!! Please go check out this place because it will bring down your reputation. The pool was disgusting, full of some white scaly particles and there was only one of 3 pools in working condition!! The aesthetics of the pool did not match the picture. My whole family got sick, the vents were clogged with dust, there was construction going on and all the dust seeped through the doors and windows. The loud drilling was unbearable and when we asked if they had garbage bags, they stated it wasn't part of the accommodations?? It was the least they could do to help us keep the place clean, since the apartment was all the way in the back surrounded by walls and only one window had the view of the horrific pool, the only one that was open out of 3. It is embarrassing to even have to type this review, because I love my country. Even though the coordinator attempted to make our stay pleasant, she seemed like she was busy most of the time and honestly, not really interested in making this a memorable trip?? This was definitely the worst vacation we have ever had in a Vrbo experience.

Will never stay there The view was horrible. The pool was green. You cannot swim in the pool

The place was nothing that I saw in the pictures. There was no Waterview and there was no elevator. I had to walk up six flight so in my opinion, it was a bad day. The apartment was nice but what I thought it was gonna be nothing that it was. Will never stay there We could not swim in the pool because the pool was green so the pictures they got up it’s nothing like it in person bad place

this place it is disgusting.

this place it a place a family can stay when we came it was a bunch a people at the door hanging with the security. the apartment was dirty the cabinet was broken the room bed it was like for only small people and one room it is only for kids. spider web in the house with one spider. Mold in the bedroom. it was really disgusting.

My overall experience with this property is positive. There were a couple of hiccups, but nothing that the host didn’t try to accommodate. Highly recommend this property if you want to stay in Santo Domingo.

Their Description is Deceiving

A) Not brand new, B) Not really in Colonial Zone (but it is sort of close), C) We know one of the pools was closed, but we were never able to find the pools, D) Patio sucked - it was surrounded by other building walls and was extremely small - no garden views, E) beds were OK, not really lux, F) drinking water was not available to us, G) They would not share location for pre-planning, They would not share access code until you arrived to the front door, they were hard to get a hold of and expected you to have full connetivity regardless of not being from the DR. That being said, The place was OK. If your plans are all in the Colonial Zone it is about a 12 mintue walk. If you are going anywhere else, know that this is on the edge of a pretty sketchy neighborhood (which is why they do not provide the address beforehand). The price was OK. It is not the bargain you think you are going to have. We did feel mostly safe on the property, but it is really more of a compound that is gated and closed off to the neighbothood. One great feature was the Riverside Mini-Mart. The corner closest to the river has a mini-mart and cafe. Those two establishments were great! And their proximity to the unit made them very convenient.

Love this place

Love the location. It is pretty close to almost all the tourist attractions from Santo Domingo. It is close to the airport and beaches. The communication with the Manager(Miguelina) was great. The apartment was really clean and beautiful. Probably we’ll book with them again ❤️

Not what it's cracked up to be

this apartment was dirty when I got there that she's wasn't clean I had to wash them when I got there I called and complained to the owner and she said that somebody cleaned it thoroughly which wasn't true I had to go to the store and buy my own products and cleaning myself this apartment has holes in the kitchen the Netflix doesn't work you have to use your own Netflix the internet is bad in the bedroom you can even use the Netflix or the TV. when you take a shower in the main bathroom in the hallway it overflows into the the hallway I called the landlord and let her know what was going on she said somebody was going to come out they never came out and took three or four days but then my stay was almost over please find another place to stay this place isn't good and I'm not snooty at all I'm the type of person that just needs a bed and a place to stay
