We did not want to leave this review, but after a serious bed bug issue and lack of resolution, we feel it is important to share our experience. We checked in around 4 PM and briefly dropped our belongings before leaving. When we returned around 11:30 PM, one guest found a visible cluster of bed bugs on her sheets. We inspected the other rooms and found evidence of bed bugs and/or spiders in every bedroom. The home was not safe to stay in, so our group of 12 had to book hotel rooms late that night. The property manager initially denied the issue and suggested we return after cleaning, which is not a safe solution for bed bugs. We were first offered only 70 in compensation. After significant back and forth, we were relocated, but it took over 14 hours, leaving us without clear direction. The replacement property was also not properly cleaned and had spiders and cockroaches. It was about 30 minutes away, disrupting our plans. We were not reimbursed for the hotel expenses we incurred despite being unable to stay. We also faced additional costs from discarded food and post-trip cleaning due to exposure. This situation caused significant stress and financial burden. We hope the owner addresses these issues and provides appropriate reimbursement.
