'Without going into a long story, my wife and I were ill by the time we arrived. The staff at Willowbank took care of us as if we were blood family.

'This was our second stay at this lovely cottage on Mangrove Bay in Somerset Village. Christine is wonderful to deal with and our stay had all the right amounts of beach time, snorkeling, relaxation, ferry trips to both Hamilton and St George and some really great food throughout our stay. We were at first disappointed to find that our favorite fish sandwhich joint (Woody’s) was not serving food any longer, but we found an equally good one at Fishbones at the dockyard. 'Jody was a fantastic host, he answered questions promptly and was very knowledgeable. The room was much larger than we anticipated and we loved how close it was to the bus stops - right outside the door in both directions and about a 7 minute walk to the ferry. Kitchen was very well stocked '

'This house has a great historic Bermuda vibe while having all the modern amenities. The layout is awesome. A 3 bedroom configuration in one wing is great for a family, then several bedrooms in the front part of the house and then another 3 in the downstairs layout. It was great for the 3 families we had on our trip! the check in and check out process was so easy. Air conditioning in all the bedrooms but note that there is not AC in the front common rooms. 'Our stay was wonderful because we enjoyed both the welcoming hosts and the beautiful seaside views and proximity to our own water access. The cottage was clean and had all that we needed. The approach to the property was a little challenging but we adapted to it. We were able to charge our little electric vehicle overnight, so that was great. The walk up the hill to the grocery store was a bit steep so we drove. All in all we had a wonderful, quiet stay. '

'The cottage is simply lovely. The location is outstanding with stunning views over the bay. The lovely, sheltered sandy beach is shared with the other cottage located at the other end of the beach. There is access to a kayak and paddleboards.The grounds have plenty of different seating options and shady areas.
