Hôtel Sanatoga, Pottstown

« Hotel is fairly old. When you walk in it feels very humid like there is no proper airflow in the building. Needs the floors redone as the bathroom smelled like urine. I even found feces smeared on the wall in my “Clean” room. Had to move rooms 3 times before I decided to just not spend the night. Upon arrival my first room appeared to have the lock busted. Would not stay here as a solo female traveler. »

« I had booked my room several months in advance, but when I asked the hotel if it was possible to move my stay to the following night, they refused because I hadn’t chosen a flexible or refundable rate. A small gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated, but apparently that’s not part of the hotel’s policy. Regarding the room, it unfortunately didn’t smell good, there were stains on the walls, and everything felt quite old. We even had to disinfect the bathroom ourselves, as we didn’t...

« The only problems were that you couldn’t control the air conditioner and the Wi-Fi was out. The location was good. There were lots of stores in the general area. However, the stores were closed because it was Sunday. »

« The staff was super nice, but the room was not clean at all and was infested with roaches. We left and let the front desk know. The girl gave me an email address to send pictures to and get a refund, but I have yet to hear from the manager regarding this issue. »

« The staff was extremely helpful in any situation even though there was no situation to deal with plus they keep the hotel smoke free inside they have a smoking station out front with a overhead roof plus shopping center is next door walking distance with a Walmart, aldi, smoke shop, military memorial park across route 100 with a water park, skateboard park, basketball and baseball court and field, free wifi with good connection »

« The staff and the hotel were fantastic. My one issue with our room was the shower. Being one of the stalls with just a half wall a lot of water ended up on the floor in the bathroom. Also the coffee bar in the morning was very sparse with things to choose from so it was easier and better to go to a coffee shop or a restaurant for breakfast. But overall I would stay there again. « The essentials for a night's stay were good. The bedding, linens, towels, etc. were spotless, and housekeeping did their job well. The AC, hot water, WiFi, TV, fridge, and microwave were all in great condition. The furniture and building don't hide their age well, and the property could use some tender loving care. I may or may not use this facility again. I feel the stay fits the adage, "you get what you pay for," and you get good value here. »

« J'ai déjà hébergé dans cet hôtel dans une autre ville et c'est un superbe hôtel. Super propre. Matelas et oreillers super confortable. J'étais satisfaite. Il est vrai qu'il y a des enfants, mais nous sommes une famille et cela nous convient. j'y retournerai sans hésiter. »
